In order to do better with forums we need to remove ability for unlinked accounts being available to post on forum - no account no posts. And scrap private settings, getting suggestions from someone who's hiding behind private settings while hes have zero progress in game its destructive in every way.

highly disagree with this, some people just value privacy like myself, we're in a day and age where our personal information can be easily found online through a variety of means that even average web users like us can do with a simple google search. Yes I agree anonymity is synonymous with bad behaviour because if no one knows who you are there's less risk and less embarrassment, however what you suggested is NOT the way to do better with forums. Your comment was neither constructive nor did you provide sufficient supports to your claims and it seems to me like a biased opinion. Regardless you are entitled to your beliefs and I respect it nonetheless. I encourage you though to expand on your reasoning as to why removing unlinked accounts is the way to 'do better with forums'. I'd love to have a little debate in this thread once you provide sufficient evidence to support your thought process.
Scroll down to the bottom, the function exists :)

Agree entirely. Anonymity is an important thing to protect. If we cannot be anonymous then we won't be willing to share our thoughts publicly. It may have been fine in the 90s or early 2000s but people now have the power and desire to dox and "cancel" people over a matter of opinion which wasn't really much of a thing back then. Very few people would ever use a public space to share thoughts and ideas if the risk was that they couldn't do it behind a mask because there is too much at stake which is why people use aliases on social networks. Look at the streamers who have been streaming harry potter this past week or two... They are all getting harassed and threatened (life) because they are playing a game that a few radicals don't agree with. Yet imagine if they did the same for BDO and other games.... The more privacy features, the better I say.
Not to burden the GM's with additional tasks but in wow I do like how my character model is pulled in from inside the game to be used as a portrait. I think BDO already has a basis for such a system since you can delete a portrait template and once the game is closed and opened again it populates a new one based on your character customizations. Basically, you just need to add an upload point to this process and then allow players the option to select a character. Only store the image uploaded for the selected character. I'd assume this feature would require some additional resources to facilitate. Additional customizations and features could also be nice... The more this feels like a community of players then the more it will be recognized as the official public forum.
I know for years many treated Reddit like the official forum which is... concerning.

FF Does the same thing, it seems to be the norm in the industry. Only thing though is that they don't have value packs with time limits on colors so that could be annoying since mix and match might only work with dyes.
Allow players to post from inside the game instead of only being allowed to read from inside the game.
