Explanation: In this feedback I’ll be summarizing the most common feedbacks from the official Drakania Discord according to how many approval it got and how often it was posted, then I might add a few things to the feedbacks based on what I understood and what the community sees as solution and at the end I’ll post a screenshot of all the feedbacks, also showing the emojis of approval (thumbs up) or disapproval (thumbs down).

PS: Because of the big amount of feedback and also repeated feedback (Either being repeated from last week or this week), I won't be counting the upvotes inside the feedback and I'll be summarizing what's being asked for each topic). On top of that, on the screenshots you might see a positive and a negative vote too much, because of the possibility that the creator of the suggestion or someone from the staff gave a thumbs up and thumbs down to encourage people to vote.

PS²: “D:” stands for Dragonblood and “H:” for Hexblood

Awakening in General

Awakening + Pre-Awakening sinergy: Another thing that has been asked for quite some time is to increase synergy between pre awakening and awakening, popular suggestions were to make the skills Eviscerate, Legacy and Tectonic slam available through quickslot to swap between awakening and pre-awakening, make Storm Maul usable from mainhand via quick slot of using W +RMB with Brimbolt Raze locked, Obliterate usable from mainhand via quick slot or using Shift + E with Absolute Markthanans Dominion locked and using Dragonwal: forward to swap you from mainhand to awakening.

New Extinction and Obliterate: The opinion on this change has been very mixed, but for the people who did enjoy this change, a few things have been missing ever since, changes made before that made Awakening Drakania’s gameplay smoother, but losing it, makes she feel more clunky with this latest change. Examples of things lost that would be appreciated to have back: The capacity to cancel Refraction and D:Sundering Roar with Obliterate, the use of Extinction & obliterate out of Dragonflight again.

Skills needing enemy detection: Awakening Drakania has a problem in PvE where a bunch of the skills go through the mobs, so some skills that would be nice to have enemy detection so it doesn’t go through mobs, unless we’re not aiming at anything would be: H: Tip of the scale, Storm Maul, Tectonic Slam, H: Storm Piercer, H: Spiteful Soul and Fate Beckons.

Skill:

Doombringer: This has been asked for quite some time and this feedback aways come back. Doombringer cancellable with Dragonflight, with the flight starting at the peak height from Doombringer as an example.

Dragon Flight: Less descend rate on Dragonflight. Feels better, but still doesn’t feel very useful with the drakania still falling so fast. It’s one of the “fan favorite” skills in this class’ kit, but not as useful nor impactful for the gameplay.

Markthanan’s Wing: Currently this skill has had some uncomfortable interaction with Legacy and vice-versa, a often commented solution would be to remove the “spacebar to activate markthanan’s wing” while using the trion, so we can only use it through shift+space and/or using the hotbar. The class has many skills in awakening and a lot of fast animations. Having problems like this makes the gameplay less intuitive and more “luck based” as in which key will be read first in certain situations.

H:- & D: Tip of the scale: Return the KD from H: Tip of the scale or give a protected core version to D: Tip of the scale. It was one of the favorite core skills for the community for what it offered, losing it doesn’t feel good according to how many changes the class has gotten. Awakening Drakania already has not that many catches.

D: Tip of the scale: It’s a very often used skill after dragonflight, but it’s still affected by fall damage. It should receive the same treatment as Doombringer in the last change and make it have no fall animation. Another thing would make the skill flow better out of different skills the same way it does when it’s used after forward Dragonwalk, because the skill hasn’t been flowing out of other commands as good as it is compared to when it’s used after a forward dash.

H: Sundering Roar: The skill has an animation at the beginning that only appears in case you use from quickslot that is not necessary.

D: Sundering Roar: Always prioritize the input for Sundering Roar over :23Storm_Piercer: when exiting AbsoluteRefraction. It often activates Storm Piercer if you held the RMB input for Absolute Refraction for too long, instead of the S+F input for Sundering Roar. 

Aerial Burst: The skill is a very cool looking skill with very slow animation and has barely no use. The community has been asking for the removal of the stun from the new Aerial Burst and replace with PvP only stiffness and Super Armor and reduce cooldown to 8 seconds, add a taunting effect for faraway monsters for PvE effectiveness.

Hexeblood: Tectonic Slam: it’s been suggested to remove floating from Hexeblood Tectonic Slam in PvP by default. Require core skill. Replace with Super Armor. Core: Tectonic Slam should not have exclusive interactions with other skills such as obliterate, db tectonic, and extinction

Storm Piercer: The stun from this skill has no use in Drakania’s kit, being a not very favored skill in the class’ kit, a suggestion made was to remove the stun in PvP from Dragonblood Storm Piercer and replace it with Forward Guard and/or bring back the Front guard after D: Sundering Roar.

H: Spiteful Soul: Replace H: Spiteful Soul core for a core for dragonblood. A core for dragonblood is being needed in comparison to what this core has to offer.


Markthanan’s heart: Localization mistake in the skill description: "hexeblood: Aerial Burst" is no longer hexeblood but dragonblood.

D: Savage Decree into D:Spiteful Soul: There’s a stutter when you try to flow D: Spiteful Soul right after the second attack from D: Savage Decree, not flowing the skills very well with each other.

H: Concealed Claw: A popular suggestion was to put Frontal Guard or Super Armor.

D: Crackling Flame: A popular suggestion was to put down attack in the skill.

Aerial Burst having CC is good, just need SA on it.

Adding Old Storm Piecer's damage into new DB: Aerial Burst is good.
Need the legacy's Shift+E keybind back.

Removing RMB keybind from DB+HB spiteful soul would be a good option as it already have Shit+RMB keybind.

Giving RMB keybind on the Extinction is good.

Giving back Shift+F keybing to Flow:Oblierate is good.
Removing Float CC from HB: Tectonic Slam and Storm Maul is good then give them SA & iframe into lingering SA.

Giving DB: Tip of the Scale a FG is good.

Giving SA on Flow: Cloud's Strife is must.

I'll add some things that I personally think would make the class more enjoyable:

Aerial Burst: Let us use Aerial Burst from hotskillbar to swap to awakening from preawakening. Also remove the CC on it and add SA instead. This makes it viable in combos and is a nice switch to use from preawa or HB to awa DB.

Dragon Flight: When flying with dragon flight, make drakania fly slightly higher than right now so she does not get stuck on random bumps on the terrain. When using the sideway keys for an evasive maneuver, make it so the character actually makes a small sidedash so we can get unstuck from or dodge small obstacles properly. The current evasive maneuver is pretty lackluster and even needs extra stamina.

Flow: Cloud's Strife: Add SA

HB: Crackling Flame: Add downattack/downsmash to it. Alternatively give it FG

I'd really love to have the old Dragonblood: Storm Piercer back and have the "new" one, which is just the old Dragonblood: Extinction essentially, returned to being Dragonblood: Extinction and being purely a flow for Dragonblood: Sundering Roar.

As it currently stands, the "new" D: Storm Piercer comes out all the time over other skills that share a RMB input when in Dragonblood stance, including Drakania's lateral dodge - Refraction, which is an awful thing to have happen in a PvP scenario because D: Storm Piercer is extremely slow and totally unprotected. It's very frustrating and tempts me to just outright lock the skill sometimes.

I see no reason why Drakania can't have both a Hexeblood and a Dragonblood Extinction, it's not like it would be the first or even second time she had a skill that shared a name in each stance. I really miss the old animation for D: Storm Piercer too. PA took the skill animation out of the game completely and didn't put in anything to replace it. Drakania just straight up lost an animation in her last "balance" patch, which for all the good it did, it also made her feel worse to place in other ways.

H: Sundering Roar: Bring back the Stun. It occupies the same purpose as Extinction.

Having a protected stun allows for improved damage on dragonblood based combos, because they do not apply down attack damage.

tbh, i already got used to the CC on that skill lol...

Created a combo too and this hits like 10 trucks... but it's not fully protected... Have to move abit away from target's grab range then use DB: Arial burst at the end of combo.
