The Wizard, for me, was the first effort at truly changing the pace of BDO. While the strong majority of the classes have their own niche/role within the combined world of players, casters are set apart from melee classes entirely. I'd once considered Ranger, but that attempt was quickly derailed when I discovered her Awakening weapon was melee as I gravitated towards that. Wizard, on the other hand, felt like it fit as is. There was no need for a weapon with which to jab or slash, the spells felt impactful. I wasn't as drastically demanding of change for the posture as some others. However, when I received the news, I was still excited to see some change and hoping for the best. Although I won't be able to use this preset saved for Nahiem, I'll be certain to work towards restoring Nahiem to his staple design with the new Wizard body. I hope more changes in the future will bring more joy to the Wizard players of the community.

[Memory]: One of my best memories on Wizard, so far, is PvP-related. I was grinding for the INF HP Potion piece in Tooth Fairy Forest on Season Arsha, and I kept seeing that players were flocking to that zone to grind as well. Initially, I thought I wouldn't be able to do much in 1v1/1vX scenario with Wizard - to my surprise, I managed to fight all but one player away and maintained the spot up until the last 7 minutes of my buffs. I ultimately conceded that 7 mins to a ninja player, but it was a good time. Moments like this are a very large part of what I play for.

Nahiem the Red is an evil-aligned Wizard with a penchant for violence. Driven mad by time spent in Calpheon's underground prison, tortured for crimes he had no hand in, Nahiem became warped and vengeful. Henceforth, he sided with Heidel in a quest w/Jordine to bring Calpheon to its knees. However, he was betrayed when Jordine went insane with power; forced to slay his companion and the summoned Belmorne. Even so, his hatred for Calpheon remains un-tamed. He spends much of his acquired knowledge toward the goal of destroying Calpheon. His favorite pastimes, apart from plotting revenge and the study of magics, include summoning meteors down from the heavens to wreak havoc on passersby, freezing people alive, and torturing his foes with intense volts of magic alongside his somewhat dim fairy companion, Marrina.
