Title: Fix items on max price, with thusend of orders and loads of purchases
Family Name:
NVIDIA
Region (NA/EU): EU
Suggestion/Comments: It's been a while since the "new" marketplace has been out, and throughout this time, I've noticed that highly demanded items are still stuck at the same maximum price since day one, with a constant stream of orders and no change. Let's take Deboreka neck and belt as an example:

Personally, I would be happy to farm Ashes Wood, however the price of 450 mil (after taxes) and low drop rate makes it waste of time for me, This is the case for many other items as well.
Is it possible for the market to regulate itself without the hindrance of barriers and outside interference(Staff), as originally intended?

I believe the goal of keeping Deboreka prices capped at this low value relative to what the real market demand would allow for, is to encourage players to find and make their own Deboreka accessories. The vision is something like, "Silver cannot buy everything" and PEN Deboreka is an example of an item that you must go on your own journey to create for yourself, because the market cannot (is not allowed to) put a proper value to it, so it is simply not available for purchase except maybe once a year in extraordinary circumstances.

I think that a good compromise would be to raise the market price ceiling of Base level Deboreka accessories, but not update higher enhanced Deboreka prices. This way, you'd still need to go through the enhancement process to make your own PEN deboreka, because it wouldn't be economical to use expensive bases to create low-price-capped enhanced items for sale, but at least the market would move for those base accessories so people could farm Ash Forest for profit.

For example, what if base Deborekas sold for 2 or even 3 billion silver? This wouldn't suddenly cause people to start making PEN Debo for profit (2b base vs 126b PEN is not feasible)... but it might generate a supply of bases on the market for people to buy who'd like to enhance one on their own without living in Ash Forest themselves.

I agree, while we all hate the enhancing system, I truly believe BDO needs your bis gear to be unmarketable. It's nothing against people that want to buy. I just feel that gear is so unrewarding because you can just swipe for outfits every week and simply buy your best gear eventually. I have made every pen and I only have 4 accessories left. It's been a long 6 year road but it's my way of leaving my mark in bdo, which BDO has so little real accomplishments, since everything is just rng.

You know, the hardest part of enchanting the debo is not clicking a button, but getting the bases...

Kinda ironic writing this comment to an item which literately can only be enchanted by P2W cronstones. Even if someone else swiped for your outfits at the end of the day when someone clicks a debo PA do earns money, atleast on NA:

It's not about how far Deboreka will go, but about motivating people to farm them. if thy'll will rise up to 800mil, the demand will fall and some poeople is actually may start farm it for profit.

I can farm stars-end and make 2-3 distortions/hour while watching TV shows. Can you do same in Ashes Wood? The point is to balance risk vs reward, and currently, the only reason people farm Ashes Wood is for self-Deborekas. The same goes for crypt.

Thread and solution on the topic of prices on the Central Market.

Many items have this and other problems, they need to open up the market a little bit more and let it self-regulate since the current controlled regulation is happening at a too slow pace. They proved that they are willing to radical changes with crystal prices, they can do it for other things too :)

Not even gonna address the "Debo is a vanity" argument. If it should've been untradable, they should've made it untradable - period. Debo prices are a symptom of a bigger problem and the list of such items (not worth their timeXdifficultyXrarityXdemand) is becoming endless.

You know how almost all treasure spots used to offer low(er) value for the grind. Could be that it is intentional.

Also, I don't think increasing the max price will chance too much either. Between low droprates and limited rotation, there's not that much incentive to... grind for profit, when it comes to debos. Or at least, I don't think there is. Why bother there, when you can grind the profitable spots and then just scold players (or devs) for not putting more debos up for sale, right? :D
