One class i wanna play and gets told not to play this class cause not PvE friendly ????

Well she is faar from the best, but if you're not playing it tryhard then probably fine.

Can confirm that succ Nova is very awful. At 250 ap it takes a minute to kill a small pack in Thornwood that is a 250 ap zone.

If you are fine with staying at the beginner spots in Valencia you can play it if you rly like the class though.

Ill give you my perspective as someone who loves succ nova and played it quite a lot.

I grinded on it because i dislike having one character for pve and one character for grinding. I thought I would be okay making a little less money than other meta classes.

I joined a node guild and did some capped nodewars and experienced what that content is like as succ nova. Basically blocking and guards are useless and you cant escape anything. you literally exist to be someone else's killstreak. a single player could 1 tap my entire front guard. and the clashes were 50v50.

So i rerolled to succ zerker. The pve was actually miles easier, and my trash per hour was about 40% more. I was incredibly pissed that a disparity of this amount is allowed to exist in the game. I was making close to half the money i could have been making on an easier class that also is a top tier pvper and node war class.

I am aware that Succ Nova isn't good in PvE, based on what I heard and what I've seen once.

One time I decided to make another nova on season and play it on Succ so I can see for myself, if it's that bad as they say. My first impressions compared to it's awakening counterpart (I am playing Awa nova) is that succ is slower in clear speed. She has the damage, if I execute a combo well. However Succ spec needs a bit more fluidity and the very few mobility skills cost too much stamina IMO. And in one-shot zones she's nearly immobile from my perspective.

Awakening is definetly better than Succ in PvE. Much better clear speed.

You actually diddnt even hit the worst part. WSucc nova is dog water at 1 shot spots because she is so slow. She actually becomes reasonable in mid tier spots where she can kill in 2 to 3 skills, but then you hit endgame spots where she falls off a cliff again.

Why you ask?

Because passed pawn hits make up a huge portion of your damage on your skills and the pawns inherit none of the accuracy modifier on those skills. So even though a skill might deal its damage + 4 pawn hits, many of those minion hits miss due to the higher acc requirements for endgame zones.

then theres all the bugs. the archaic design. the glacial animation speeds.

and they just keep giving classes more and more ways to destroy frontals. (Maewha charged stub gers a 20% frontal shred. succ corsair essentially being an intentional hard counter to your class.

I feel compelled to mention that you should NOT go to "250" ap zones simply because you have 250 AP. It's more realistic to go there with 261 ap due to AP brackets.

Only reason I've been grinding that spot with a few different classes is that its needed for the Ody main story.

The Nova stood out because of how significantly worse it was compared to the other classes ive done the questline on.

I can confidently say that an awa witch with ~230 ap kills 5x as quickly there especially if I use draughts and stuff that I tried on the Nova.

Because devs decided so, they don't seem to be willing to fix her Pve once for all.
