As the title says, I can't move my character when selecting the gamepad UI mode, I can if I don't select that but what's the point?

I use a controller due to arthritis in my fingers and can't use the mouse and keyboard comfortably for too long.

Hopefully one of you knowledgeable souls can help me

You should check in the settings and ensure that the left stick is being used for movement. If it is not I suggest you either change it manually or choose the reset to default option.

When you use Gamepad UI mode you cannot change/edit any keys and it says so under the option. Yes, it does remove all gamepad setting when in gamepad UI mode but like I said you could not edit the mappings. If I don't select gamepad UI I can use the left stick for movement and under the gamepad setting I can see that it says left up etc for movement.

Gamepad UI mode is the problem here and that he what is causing the left stick not to work because I can use the left stick to navigate the menus but I just can't move

I am sorry that I misunderstood your problem. I thought you meant that the left stick just did not move your character at all. I use the original contoller settings that launched with the game and have never tried their newer console ui. Why not just use the old system that you can change the keybinds to suit you better?

No need to apologise but not having gamepad UI enabled you end up using the keyboard quite a lot and you miss out on the integration of having the ring menus. Just don't understand why enabling the mode causes this to happen and I guess due to the lack of feedback from a mod or dev, they don't know why either

*EDIT* I have a fix! You just have to go to your local files folder for BDO and delete the cache folder. That will force the game to generate a fresh settings template.

I have been using the gamepad UI for about a week, but yesterday it suddenly stopped working. At the same time, a bunch of graphical settings were changed that I didn't make myself. Maybe there's a bug with the way the settings save or load?

Not jus that

It improves game quality

And run faster

Cause think its Console

Ty! I try a lot of things to solve that issue and deleting BDO cache folder did the trick.

Finally i can play with controller.

Same Problem here.

I Switch from console to PC bc of performance.

There is no way to play this with Keyboard for me after 2k hours in console.

When enabling the Controller UI it "deletes" all the "key bindings" in the Controller settings.

Please let me know If this gets fixed.
