"Karma dropped..." message while hunting in Desert Naga, season server, season character

Hello!
Any advice why I'm seeing this message while killing monsters in Desert Nagas just across the road from Sand Grain Bazaar?
Server and character are both seasonal, there's no and never was any "wildlife" animals that decrease Karma if killed.
Also, there are no players around, I can see it clearly on my screen and minimap.

Hard to say exactly, but sometimes mobs spawn in the wrong location for some reason. It is very rare, but has happened before. Maybe a karma dropping mob like a gazelle spawned. Since its on a seasonal server, there is no pvp that would drop karma, so a falsely spawning mob would be the only explanation.

Not sure what it was, but my Karma dropped to ~200k from usual max 300k. I dont do pvp, ever. Probably it was some glitch fastly fixed since then it does not happen anymore.

Hmm. The only mobs that decrease karma are horses and gazelles, and for both of them its 500 karma per mob (other than desert caravans, but they can only be hit with pvp active). It sounds very weird to suddenly drop your karma by 100k.
However, it may have been a part of a desert caravan? I could not explain it any other way, even though they can only be hit when Alt C is active, which isnt possible on seasons, and they dont pass by or through nagas. It is very very weird.
