Well, given the outcry of the posts here recently, this kind of thing should be on the top of the list for the next round of quality of life changes.

 The deve team needs to overcome the sales strategy of these messages and whatnot. The people responsible for making the argument:

"When a player sees his fellow adventurers achieving their goals, they become motivated! Let's make is so they can't avoid seeing these messages!"

This is not true, MOREOVER it is not true of the tuvala gear either! I hate it when a new season starts, because I know that my screen will be flooded with tuvala enhancements.

Its driving me crazy.

hard agree, i logged off bdo yesterday after 4 hours of non stop smashing my r key into dust and getting stuck in quest boss instances only to be flashbanged with calamity spam every 5 seconds and i will not be logging back in (other than for nodewar) until this is fixed.

I think same logic may apply to item drops, "hey look you got an item it costs 1M silver you're lucky and you can be rich, just continue". Wrong. 1M silver hard/sharp is nothing in the long run, a dozen I pop during mt gathering run makes next to insignificant difference, it adds up eventually, yes, but it will take months if not years of gathering for me to be able to afford lets say TET Manos ring, I'm not even mention full set, this is hardly achievable without making gathering full-time job 10 hours per day, which very few of us can afford.

Same applies to "Whale appeared/disappeared" screen-blocking popup. In my previous thread I learned that to make a simple boat upgrade from Bartali sailboat to next tier it will take 3 years, yes three years to upgrade. Obviously, I'm not doing it, so sea content is factually blocked for me, I will never, never hunt Whale in the sea, so why do I need to see this message?

Same applies to "Dawn Grudges gathering" or whatever, I dont even know what that is, I'm not interested, I have too little time per day to do my farming/gathering/cooking, why do I need to see popup of activity I will most likely never do?

Same applies to world boss popups. You see, people who ait and kill those - they already know when the boss will appear, and they are in place and prepared, so they dont need this popup message. People who dont hunt bosses - they most likely will not be able to run to boss fast enough until its alive, so the popup message is useless for those people too.

Same applies to "Your journey begins" FULL SCREEN window appearing every time my farmer shai enters town. Look, I made this shai for only one single purpope - reseed farms, that all. I will never level her up, gear her up, buy stuff for her, doing any quest for her, so why this full screen popup appears every single day and I cannot disable it?

Same applies to absolutely useless messages that remind me I have better gear and I need to wear that. Look, I'm wearing lifeskill set and I have combat set in my inventory, yes, but I wear lifeskill gear with lower combat stats FOR A REASON!

Same applie to "Dark Rift opened", its pretty much enough if this icon will just blink a little bit, is there any real reason a whole text message appears next to it and cannot be disabled? Why the game literally annoys me to force me to do activities I'm not interested at the moment, whats this mandatory entertainment or something? Can I decide for myself what and when I can do stuff without being constantly intrusively reminded?

I just dont get it, why these complains ignored and not fixed. First you annoy your customers, then you make them angry, then they just leave or become haters, and it will take HUGE effort to make them return and play and pay rel money. Reputation is everything, and looking at fail after fail during last 2 years I'm not sure PA understands. Forum posts like this are too valuable as feedback, because written by people who care, how many of annoyed players will just not waste time because they rightfull believe their problems will not be fixed? Complainer are tip of the iceberg.
