300 AP, 365 DP awa Warrior, SCMeal, "church" buffs, Beast Draught - died six times in a row.

I managed to get through her "flame" phase tthree times but then multiple small foxes appear, locking me in permanent guard stun.

Also, the framerate drops during this foxes phase are not helping. Healing with tier 4 fairy and S+LMB is not enough.

Not sure how can I approach this fight differently, my crystals, artifacts and add-ons are pure PvE.

I don't think I lack skill, I try to reposition during the fox swarm but I still get melted.

Not seeing a lot of space for improving - foxes swarm appears, frame drop slows me down, I die.

This should be doable on every class. Not encouraging start to take Calamity challenges seriously.

Well, the expansion is two days old, ´tis a little early to give up on that boss, don´t you think?

Against the framedrops there is a cure and it´s called VCache Ryzen, available even for a potato budget (AMD: send the €€€ to the usual dead drop kthx).

Nah, I even tried to use quest vials but it's not really helping.

Is there really nine foxes in the final phase, one representing each tail? Feels like I'm fighting twenty of these... :(

You guys missed part where regular gear only give 10% of its value ? Its all about  managing your aura, put all in yellow if you wanna to yellow boss.

Wizard here. Stuck with quest mode. My CCs don't work.

I think I only managed to cancel 1 out of 10, using 2-3 skills during shield phase to cancel buff.

Total horseshit. Crashing 20 times a day, getting stuck during quest phases and now a stupid broken shit fight, that is easy, but you are stuck on progression, because mechanics are broken.

Alright, maybe I can help you cheese it. Finally made through it after, not exhagerrating about 20 more attempts.

Yes, it's mechanically broken or rather "not player friendly" at all.

The green flask can be used during the "two big foxes" stage but only works on "fake" fox if the true boss is far away.
Possibly a lofe saver if you do it on PEN Tuvala bid for me it was doable without the flask.

Blue flask was a must use for me but I have no clue if there's time limit on it or what. It puts down the "fire floor" for a moment so use it to chase the boss and slap as many back attacks as possible.

My character has big heal on hit so I needed to rely on chasing the fox around. I tried to heal from green orbs located on the edge of the arena but I also died multiple times on my way to get them so it's somewhat risky.

Third stage is absolutely bonkers, you need to kill small foxes and activate the red flask close to their "souls". Sometimes it does not work at all, sometimes you capture one and the rest respawns. At this point I assume it's NOT a bug to fight around 20 foxes if you don't manage to capture them effectively but this is the worst design in a video game boss fight I've seen in a long time.

On my "winning" attempt I've been fighting the final form of Gumiho and "only" three tail foxes which made frame drops and slowdowns managable enough. I tried spamming red flask to the very end but it probably made no diffrence. No idea what makes her heal herself, oes she consume the souls or maybe has a buff - it's all very chaotic and confusing. Apparently I'm not a fan of wacky boss fights, always preferred exploration part of Dark Souls over frustrating battles with questionable hitboxes.

I should feel more positive emotions after conquering polygons in a virtual world but I only sense relief. a

285AP 375DP awa drak. Killed quest fox in less then 1.5min. it's your skill issue mate. You are surrounded by healing orbs, by hitting it you heal tons of HP... specially when warrior has a very good heals & protections.

What auras are you talking about??
