Hello everyone, I hope you are all having a great time playing Black Desert Online!

You are currently browsing the Tips & Guides section of the Gameplay Forums. Anyone is permitted to create new threads and reply here given that you sign into your account. But before you do, there are a few things you must know.

First: This is intended as repository for Tips and Guides. Please do not ask questions as its own thread, however if you do find a guide that could use more clarification or is related to your question, you may ask in those threads.

Second: If you do have a question that isn't part of a guide, you may direct your question about the game in the Q&A forum called Oasis of Knowledge. This forum can be accessed here: https://www.naeu.playblackdesert.com/en-US/Forum/Qna

Important: Please be as specific as you can be with your question for expediated answer. Kindly note that the forums are community driven by players like you and me.

Third: At the bottom of the thread list, you may search for guides, tips and so on. The search acts like the search on your computer so if you want to search more broadly, go to the parent or grandparent of the forum you are in. IE: This is Game Play but you can search from Tips & Guides if you're unsure where to search or if you want to search the entire English forum you can go to English instead. You will find these tabs at the top like this:

And the search bar is found at the bottom such as this:

Fourth: If you're going to create a new thread, please be sure to look through and see if a guide was already made. You may also share useful tips as well and so don't think it's only about guides here. While creating a guide, I suggest you write it in Notepad, word or something to prevent any data loss. Lastly, the best guides of the month are eligible for Adventure of the Month and featured in BDO Monthly! Meaning if you create a quality guide there is a chance that a GM will give you an amazing reward! Take a look at this BDO monthly as an example: BDO Monthly May 2023
