Bro, they don't care about us, is all about money. They've no idea HOW MUCH MONEY they're losing making the community mad about something. This game could be SO MUCH BETTER if they listen to peoples opinions. Imagine if BDO create new races to play, new flying mounts or ground mounts (why only horses on a fantasy world with griffons and other beasts??? WTH). PA could steal all players from FFXIV or WOW id they want to. Imagine BDO being MUCH more than a trash grind simulator and become a game that you can really socialize with people, with lots of gestures, new things to do with your friends or strangers. Imagine if we could search for treasures that spawns randomly giving good silver or items which we can make a collection, use to make gear or new clothes to our characters. BDO was a really good idea of game, really revolutionary, but with time turned to be a good graphic game only. What we need is Devs with a good idea what people want and not what they THINK people would like.

I know what I want:

- New races;

- Playing the class you like with the race and genre you want;

- New mounts / flying mounts;

- New social gestures;

- Playing with friends/strangers being beneficial on spots;

- Changing the PvP to be fun (I remember playing TERA ONLINE and if you had enough expertise on your classe, even with lower gear you could kill heavily geared people. BDO doesn't allow it making people with gear being impossible to kill if you have a little less gear score).

-Put treasures spawning on the world/ocean with items that can be used for something like craft items, clothes, etc.

If any game developer give us a game with BDO graphics and possibilities with things I described here... I can only imagine the success cuz no other game would be so fun.

Yeah, this is why games like OldSchool runescape has stood the test of time, especially lately. 

The developers will look at the forum suggestions, reddit, facebook mentions, twitter, etc and look for latest posts/updates.
They will then discuss a lot of the newer trends on a live-stream, and gauge community feedback there.

If it's a positive change or new content they might just add it, but if it's a divisive change, they will do a community poll within the game.
The polls then require around 70% favor to pass.

If we had community polls for everyone that's played more than say a month, imagine how much more involved everyone would actually feel.

Implement one of the dozens of better solutions that have been suggested.

I know far more people who have quit than still play at this point, and this horrible remaining system is straining the few who remain.

I'm at the point of the game, 285 AP (soon 290) and 400 DP where I'm afraid to go to mid-end zone areas with my end-game crystals. Nevermind me not knowing the rotations for the higher-end mob spots... unless I have backup crystals / lower level crystals I am not going to use my expensive crystals to try a spot and hope I don't get one-shot *I'm looking at YOU Under Gyfins!*

I don't like this "system' at all, while I'm grinding out 40 billion elsewhere to get to 290 AP I still won't go to higher zones (Oluns with friends was fine, though they hit hard no one-shot killed me..)

I'm forced to make a decision, do I progress further in this game and pray luck happens or lose 6 billion crystal because the game wants to punish me progressing in the game... we already lose XP if we die (except if we have mitigations). We don't have ANY for crystal protection only 3 recovery a year..

I get the comments that the CM will crash if nobody has crystals break, but that's PA fault for implementing this system as it is.

It's bad enough my Girin's Tear broke (my Kutum was 0 durablity oops.... but still), at Oluns, you know cause its so 'random' the best crystal I have breaks first... two more recovery for 2024 then I'm screwed...

The mechanics and the greed of these developers in refusing to remove this feature guarantee that Black Desert Online will remain the sole game of Pearl Abyss that I will ever engage with.

Grinding only to have a lag spike destroy a crystal worth more than 5 hours of grinding at my gear score is an awful system. I hope Pearl Abyss will face bankruptcy in the near future, and once a game with comparable graphics and combat mechanics is released, I will be moving on from this game to where it truly belongs - where the Korean Developers also belong.

They just added a pay to win solution for this, they certainly don't want to fix this in a player friendly way any time soon.

There's a lot of truth to this thread.

I died grinding with my friend and simply stopped going to all high end areas. I can't replace the crystals I have. There's no existent means in the game to do that. Not realistically when the cost of my armor is literally a year of gameplay a piece. Losing crystals just slows things down that much more. 

I'm level 66 with some of the best gear you can get. 

However, the new content forced me to sell all of my savings from the very beginning of the game just to "keep up". 

The absence of Perfumes and Frenzy from the marketplace further hampers even access to some areas. 

Now the devs are activitely working towards us not being able to play with our friends at all in "solo" areas. 

The summary of the message from the medium (see Marshal McLuhan) thus is:

1. if you have a real life partner you may not be able to play with them on this game

- if you have friends this also applies

2. if you have any real life responsibilities dying in BDO will reset your played-time longer than a day or more likely a week. 

3. if you are playing the wrong class access to some regions is inefficient

4. if you are playing any of the new content the only mechanic is "don't get one shot" 

5. if you do get oneshot all of the previous issues up to issue 4 resurface

The current way the game is being designed is such that they are simply forcing players to quit. I sold all my horses. All of my armor multiple times. Etc, all just to get one item. 

Now they are taking away from real life by blocking my access to my friends in game. These are friends out of game. 

When your core game design philosophy is to attack player's friendships or access to their friends you've got a serious problem. Turos and Crypt was our last "high end" grind areas we could do together. Latern Turos kill you on de-sync and you're removing Crypts with an assisting player as you are removing all assisted combat. 

What you should have done instead of Dekhia or INCLUDED into Dekhia is the ability to convert a solo area to duo, tri, or five person area. 

This way we could go where we want and enjoy the game more.

Instead you've opted to delete our ability to play with friends. Where not delete then strangulate. 

Not a good plan.

This along with crystals being too costly to use in the high end content means that the game is essentially done.

You've blocked us from playing your game. 

Terrible decision.

The recent Crowdstrike-related server crash has shown how unstable the game connection can be. Every since the emergency maintenance patch happened that allowed the game to work again, the game has been "failing to connect" and crashing much more often. There can be other uses for surplus crystals; PA always finds ways to balance markets, and there are many endgame items that retain high prices tags despite players only needing one or two of each variety of these items (Fallen God, Blackstar, Deboreka). The game has changed drastically since crystals were first added, with BiS crystal sets costing 10s of billions of silver, making them comparable to other endgame items. Endgame grindspots make around 1 billion silver per hour, which is not a good profit/risk ratio. Something or other will make many players lose their crystals after 6, 10 or 20 hours of grinding, resetting their progress or putting them into negative silver. So please remove crystal breaking.
