I had a guy last night claim that his friend I killed repeatedly had been grinding in the spot for an hour prior.  I explained to him I had been here for 2 hours, I saw him on a different rotation, and I didn't kill his freind until he went onto my rotation.  He then attacked me, so I did the only thing I could, I let him kill me multiple times since he's the one who flagged, before sending him to the shadow realm.  Then I called the boys in and we hunted him across 5 alts as he was deep red at that point.  Why he didn't just log off or switch channels I don't know.  1 Guildie was on the black robe and campgrounds, the rest of us were riding to his new location.  Man was he salty.  I love the new karma changes, nothing better than punishing someone that hard.  According to the whisper a guildie got, we managed to downgrade his Pen Blackstar, downgrade his Lebreska to base, broke all his crystals including a Girin, and destroyed 2 strikes.  Good times good times.

Goodbye to more freedom and variety that this game once had.  I guess people could always make another account for red-playing.  Still, I prefer versatility to one-size-fits-all.

Is this one of those "things that didn't happen" stories people like to tell?

I can't verify if his gear got downgraded, or if he broke a Girin.  We did hunt him for over an hour before he swapped off of our home server or logged off.

You were just lucky that:

- the guy who got onto your rotation was killable

- your "boys" came over that fast

Not everybody has that luck (or call it timing) when a griefer comes...

It's called having a good guild.  A situation like this used to result in a guild war that would last weeks until we got bored.  Now we can't get mutual decs, so our alternative is to seek out red players and hunt them across alts.
