As per title, the current droprate on this item is far too low the amount of preorders are increasing faster than the rate the item gets sold in all regions.  Since the rework to the crystal system this item is a requirement to effectively grind a lot of endgame content.  The option for a guaranteed drop takes months to complete (5 months making every possible Nouver spawn, longer for those who work or have life commitments or can't make due to timezone differences) and through this method you can only get 1 heart.

This needs to be addressed, this needed to be addressed 2 years ago all the two week events in the world will not fix the shortage of this item there needs to be a permenant change.

It was increased many times already, it did not changed anything so far. They should simply increase it's max market price, as ppl not selling it for this low.

I really dont know if that changes anything. I see the main problem as: players who would like one (mostly endgame) cant. Players who have them dont sell (i know 5 who have 1-3 spares each in storage. Some even have 9 as i heard of), because if they need them, they cant get them back. And if they sell them, they dont get their value. 

It its designed to be the rarest drop. I dont think the devs will let that slide. Its intended that not everyone has everything. And tbh do you really need one from drop? We have the quest, yes it takes ages, but its something you can work on pretty early. And other than a AWA heart, offhand doesnt gain you much outside of pvp, wich has a substitude: Kutums heart. 3% special eva, 150 HP/SP wont enable you to grind a higher spot. They probably wont let you stand up again where you where killed (that often statisticly). 

The problem the devs have is: if you just make it a bit too high in drop rate, it sits on the market. There is a very finite number of hearts a player can use, but as time goes on ever more hearts will be droped. As they arent used up, at some point you have enough hearts for everyone, if you dont get new players faster than they drop. Thats the reason for the quest. Everyone can get at least one AND it wont influence the long term availability too much. 

Thats why a price increase makes sense. If a new player has the ability to buy it back when needed and a sizable gain for other equipment by selling it, orders will be fulfilled. I think the argument was: Everyone should be able to parttake in the rng selling instead of only the richest players, but that only drives ppl to not sell as I explained above. And that lets the market not funtion as intended. 

If the price was 50b for example (I doubt that it would be that high anyway), more ppl would sell more, less ppl would want one and the situation would stabilize. In addition i think Karanda and Kutum should be sold too. 

I dont want to gate keep or anything. They could be minlisted tomorrow, i dont care. I never droped one, got 2 over time from the market and did the quest. 20bil is just another 2 fails on something stupid for me. So be it. But I really want to emphasize on the itention of the item. A non essential upgrade thats good enough to be interesting, not so good you outright need it, that has easy substitutes and is very hard to obtain. 

Compare that to vell. Vell is something everyone needs at some point until they have 309k and have at least a resplended destruction. If thats sold out, new players have a big problem. 3 sheet ap is huge. But garmoth on the offhand? Nice little bonus amoung the countless buffs, journals and set effects we have.

Ive seen you reply to suggestions like this over and over and its baffling how wrong you are. People are not selling them because people don't get them. We've had two events in a row right now where you can get extra garmoth bundles. Otherwise if it made a difference, you would be seeing the pre-orders drop, not continue to increase.

There's no single person out there who has a garmoth heart right now thats just letting it sit in storage thinking the price is going to go up. You're delusional or just riding on some sort of copium.

1, There are many players with multiple garmoth in their storage that they not gonna sell it for this low.

2, At higher price the quest would actually worth doing since currently you not save anything by doing that, so players who did not did that would do that for the money.

3, Currently it simply does not worth the effort to even switch to garmoth. You do not get it from 100 kills on avarage, but if instead of switching to garmoth 100 times you would grind 6 minutes every time, you would already got enough money to buy it. Obviously ppl not going ot bother with something that is a waste of time to do.

4, At higher price players would actually think before trying to buy something that is not that necessary for them as they think it is hence the demand would drop.

Just look at the cup items. They was sold out for years and then they increased the max price and surprise, you can just buy it now...

Also your comment is nonsense. You're talking about how more bundless didn't changed the number of preorders.... and? How is it even related to price increase?

I've been going to garmoth for around 6yrs now and I've only gotten 1 heart from garmoth in all that time. I also go to every Vell and have gotten around 5 now. I don't think there is a mountain of holdouts out there. All that'll happen if you make more available is that newbs will sell theirs and veterans will not. The suggestion to increase the price is the same as robbing from the poor to give to the rich. 

As for the cups... They increased the price which made grinding for it profitable. You can't grind for Garmoth hearts so your example is flimsy at best.

None of the cup spots are worth it to grind, not even close.

Also then look at the pen cadry ring after cap increase, surely you going to say it's profitable to grind cadry now? kappa

You must be EU because NA Cadry doesn't look very special. There's nothing to suggest people are grinding that spot.

This info seems to suggest that people are doing rifts. 

People only do cadry when there's an alternate treasure zone for pity pieces..  but now that HP/MP pot can be bought and this new Altanis pity thing, I can't see Cadry picking up again.
