Choosing the best Serendia Crossroad!

In the vast and intricate world of Black Desert Online, the choices you make often shape the trajectory of your adventures: once you pick a crossroad, it can’t be changed. Thus, it is important to pick the best for you, to not get stuck. As you embark on the Serendia main quest, a pivotal decision looms ahead: selecting one of the three diverging paths, each offering unique narratives and challenges. Making an informed choice is crucial, and understanding the nuances of each crossroad is essential. 

Let's delve into the options to help you decide which path aligns best with your interests and playstyle.

NOTE: the playthroughs show the point of view of the Nova since this class has specific interactions for each crossroad.

◈ [I] The Lamenting Head of the League Merchants

You can watch cutscenes (videos) related to the main quest that involve the stories about Jordine's plan of revenge on Calpheon, the Shadow Knights, and  Belmorn.

The situation has worsened for the League of Merchants since Jordine Ducas ascended to regency. I don't know what he's up to, but he's saving up funds. Do you have any idea how ruthless his methods are? He's forcing the League of Merchants to buy bonds and suffer from debt due to high interest. We're up against the wall. And it appears that the Republic has allowed the Encarotia Family, the nobles of Calpheon, to have the Xian Merchant Guild establish a trading branch in Heidel. I can't bring myself to see Isobelle Encarotia, the Branch Manager. I get nervous just hearing her voice. Please, can you explain our situation to her for me?

◈ [II] Silence, We're Done Here

Listen to the Black Spirit's whispers and what the villagers have to say to proceed. The quests in this route are mainly centered around defeating monsters. Once you're half way done with the Calpheon Main Questline, the story of Oze, the Lord of Keplan's daughter, will begin.

Sigh, aren't you tired of listening to their complaints all the time? When did merchants ever care about anything other than profit? Hehe... Considering all that's been done, wouldn't it be more interesting to just pay a visit to the Grand Chamberlain? He's the one with power after all. People like you have bigger and better things to do!

◈ [III] Each of Their Reasons

Are you a Game of Thrones fan? This might be the crossroad for you! 

Side with Isobelle Encarotia from the Xian Merchant Guilds who is in Heidel and think of a way to resolve the power struggle among the noble families in Serendia and Calpheon.

Bobby Lauren is an incompetent fool. He is making excuses for his own mistakes. Shouldn't we listen to both sides of the argument before we jump to conclusions? Yes, I am referring to the Xian Merchant Guild or whatever from Calpheon. You weren't planning on forming conclusions from just hearing one side of the story were you? Hehe.
