Suggestions/Comments: Blue team would camp at point 5 and red team would camp at point 1, cheesing the debuff mechanics that was intended to do the opposite.
Either change the debuff for point 3 only or completely remove it from the game, it is being abused by veteran players who knows about the mechanics and new players doesn't even know it's a thing since it's not even in the description. It is weird because the mechanics was intended (literally said in the patchnotes by the developers) to help the less geared side, but it ends up having the opposite effect where the less geared side couldn't even leave their home point

Unless they replace kill above head with points gained (after all its control point map) and punish players who  don't play point control nothing going to change.

There is 3 type of players in RBF right now.

- kill farmers - they don't care at all about what's going on, they only here to kill and not to die, if they going to die protecting point they'll run away from it even if its 100% instantly lose for their team.

- afk leechers -still surpice me how they avoid afk kick out. For example there is still "bot" who walk (yes RP walk) from respawn to 3.

- player who play for win - steal 1/5 stay on 1/5 = ~99% you won because first 2 type of players don't care about point control.

Also very important part of BDO - there is to "shuffle" of players, its just swap sides but players in teams stay the same, so once you stacked with strong players you can play lots of RBF's with same team facesmashing low gear/afk players.

indeed starting nodes should NEVER have debuff for "home" team while owned by them.

(eventho its nice bursting down almost whole enemy platoon with few skills due to it when they stack up like pinatas)

it's wild that this oversight has been in the game for so long even though there has been reprots in the past to get it changed

the patch notes stated that this changed was to help lesser geared players, but it had the opposite effect where the more geared side cheese the spawn point to farm the lesser geared side even harder.

the same players that would win the previous rounds in valencia rbf would get pushed around like 💩in a box in castle ruins rbf just goes to shows that this suggestion needs to go through.
