Well you have Jae'Hee Kim apologize over and over about how sorry he was for not listening..

For how stubborn he is... and that the direction should be a game that we all love....

Then 2 minutes later you talk about yet another Jae-Hee Kim direction for PVP.

And yet AGAIN completely ignoring the ENTIRE community. By tossing out some trash concept and YET again deleting existing content as we know it.

Say good bye to NODE WAR All together...

No more fort building and placement that is part of tactics.. no more defending... all for a RBF style node war that lasts less than an hour WHAT IN THE ABSOLUTE F..

Now he wants to bring back 10v10 and 20v20 that he completely eliminated at LAST YEARS BALL saying no to it.

This is our new Open World Pvp... ?!?!?!?!?!?!

SIGN UP TO FIGHT A 10v10 in a grind spot map like RBF to make it feel like we are doing open world.... are you friggin kidding me?!?!?!?

Then says he hears the community loud and clear but still blames open world harrasment  of new players as the reason everyone is leaving...not the lack of real content and direction in game but a game that literally can't make up its own identity....

Too say your saddened that he disappointed the core community by moving too fast and by removing content to leave a big gaping hole....To turn around and do the SAME DAMN THING AGAIN.

This is the reason Jae'Hee Kim needs to step down. His vision for BDO is not that of the community. His constant apology over and over then doing the exact thing he just apologized for 10 minutes later MAKES NO SENSE.

enough is enough.

100%.

10v10 Crews was content that was touted last year -- Scrapped.  Now with this new "GVG league" thing that isn't even open world / organic-player-made content, that's more like the 10v10 Crews.  IMO, 10v10 Crews sounded fun, but is simply not remotely close to a good replacement for real GVG's.  And what about Battle of Thornwood Castle?  That PVX mode a lot of players were looking forward to?  Scrapped.  Bounty System?  Scrapped.  So many potential good ideas SCRAPPED.  Then the tout a 300v300 mode, actually developed it and what happened?  Players boycotted, refused to participate, and they had to cancel their opening release of this content.

Node War changes.  Instead of listening to player feedback that all the hidden %-based shenanigans is what makes "gear-capped" (loose term) unbalanced, with players equipping Chimera Earrings, Kaia Necklaces, stacking HP via Artifacts/Lightstones/Crystals, and try-hard elixer rotations skewing power away from an actual gear-balanced fight, they just decide to remove base-building -- a key strategic part of NW's since day 1.  Defense squad?  Will we even need them?  Can they still rebuild?  If gear-balance was the issue, which is why they made pretty much all NW's gear-capped in the first place, then why not introduce a similar gearing system AoS has to Node Wars?

Lack of real content, lack of identity, lack of direction.  J apologized and said he felt overwhelmed with the abundance of new players, which is what made him make all these changes players all over the world are upset about.  Especially the loyal players who've been here for years.  And it seems like he didn't learn a damn thing because these new proposals have the same traits of those recent changes.  He's not listening to players -- he's only trying to see what will make the most money.  Which is fine, but when you miss the mark over and over and over again, c'mon.  Something's gotta give.  I think he's trying to reshape and redefine BDO into some monstrosity of a solo-player instanced PVE grinder with instanced PVP content when BDO --- SINCE DAY 1 -- was NEVER meant to be an instanced game.  Which is why instances were avoided for so long, but slowly by slowly, instances were added when devs USED TO BE staunchly against instances.  While I am 100% NOT against instanced content in BDO -- it needs to be done RIGHT.  It needs to preserve BDO's core gameplay design of open world PVX sandbox MMO.  J seems to be changing BDO away from its roots and into something new, something he THINKS players want, while still ignoring said players while apologizing for ignoring them.  WTF.

LMAO. I hope you're strapped in.  This ride is gonna be fun (watching the unfolding drama, not the content).  Literal clown fiesta.

So many people on Reddit are sad, upset, and laughing to mask their depression about the current state of BDO and the direction J is heading us down:

The guild league is probably fun content. However, as a gearlet in an omega-geared guild, I can foresee never being able to participate in that content.

The node war change is absolutely going to kill the NA nodewar scene. RIP

Gunslinger class and the new outfit showcased sounds a lot like PA is now desperate for any content that will get them some players. This looks a lot like a lot of recent asian mmo's that died off. Not sure what PA is thinking.

The idea of banning first and then investigating. Its like nobody is ever going to abuse it. O' PA.

It's quite clear he wants new players, either we need implemented PvE servers to prevent higher gs players from getting griefed or remove PvP all together which would be amazing. PvP players have only themselves to blame. At this point what else do you have to lose?

I like how he 'apologizes' for screwing the community while continuing to screw us. His 'apology' is as genuine as a politician's...

"I'm sorry for screwing you but I'm gonna keep screwing you."

Like you I am not against instance game modes.

But the 10v10 crew mode was additional content as you stated was scraped last year.

This does not in any way shape or form compare to Open World GVG's.

This type of game play is like saying a red player or a guy saying DFS then saying meet me in BA....

This takes pretty much all the fun and excitement that used to be BDO...

Like hawking over your auto path to the next grind spot in case some red clown knocks you off your horse. The red player never came but the Excitment in waiting was all the thrill in playing BDO.

Be it a Dec guild or just a flag up.. gave you an adrenalin rush leaving town knowing you can get killed..

All the adventures we had doing open world can't be reclaimed with instance content.

Did something need to change..

Absolutely..

But it had to be tempered with understanding the community in which this game represents.

From Life Skill, PVE,PVX to PVP this game has a diverse community but the absolute reward for beating the game by getting gear is PVP.

When you act like an Indian Giver no one will trust you.

You tell us you have an exciting new NW concept that NO ONE is asking for (Completely ignoring the community).

Then push it out within a months time making ZERO use of the Test server.. Becouse PA doesn't engage with anyone on what the hell the community is testing including reported bugs...

Jae is yet again a one legged man in an ass kicking contest and he is losing to himself. He needs JUST STOP AND READ THE FORUMS, READ REDDIT.

Jae is not the man to take us into the future.. with the same attitude as before this is going to go no place fast.

I dont think people are leaving. Only if you look at the short term, you will see people leaving, when we get new big content and free stuff again, we will go right back up again.

he specifically cited the influx of new players, not the outflux, as the reason he did some things. steam stats confirms BDO is still pretty popular. More popular than it was 5 years ago.
