Lately people have been going into Dekkia grind spots, messing with the players there, and messing with the spawns that someone is already grinding.
Multiple times Myself and my guild mates have been at Dekkia grind spots only to have someone come up and Grab/CC spam the player in an effort to get the player grinding killed, sometimes they just flat out kill us. I have more respect for the player that flat out kills but zero respect for the CC exploiters.
Normal spots, yeah no one owns a grind spot yada yada.
At Dekkia, 1 player or party is spawning the mobs, spending their silver and resources to do so. If someone comes by and messes with a grind already in progress there is one clear agressor griefing a player that spent resources.
The suggestion, if A dekkia lantern is lit, and the player grinds that lantern for 10 minutes uninterupted by PvP, the player or party should get a special buff that allows them to kill any player entering the Dekkia area of influence with zero karma penalty. If a player CCs or otherwise damages a player grinding on a Dekkia spot and the player with that buff dies, they should take double the Karma hit. At the same time the player with the Dekkia buff should be immune to Crystal loss if another player engages them in PvP via means of Alt+C.
I would suggest that if a player is grinding and they flag up to hit someone, the death protection should go away, but the protection from karma loss should they kill the person entering the grind spot stay obviously.
If 10 minutes is too short, 15 could be a thing. I suggest at least 10 minutes to prevent players from going into a grind spot and dropping a lantern near someone's rotation just to they can kill that person the moment they go near the dekkia lantern spawns.
