I feel like, as a Guardian, or any other melee character, the crosshair is unnecesarry. At least for pve and leveling. I don't need it , not even when I need to select something, because that item or NPC is highlighted when selected anyway. And as many , not just me, it hurts the immersion. An option to disable it would be nice. Or if total lack of crosshair is undoable ,at least change it to a simple dot. I don't see the point of it being a cross with four lines around it. Too big. Sometimes I quit playing just because of that ugly crosshair being in the center of the screen all the time. Thank you . I hope this might come in a future update. Cheers!

The crosshair visibility toggle has been desired for a long time.
Alternatively, they could give us the option to set it's transparency from 0-255 alpha.
And if the developers felt like they can handle it, give us some crosshair customizations like animated crosshair for when it soft-locks onto a target and then back to neutral when untargeted.
A simple dot would also be great to have for the minimalistic feel. I also use the crosshair every day to adjust my camera location and zoom level, because I do not play this game as a top-down 2D farming simulator...

You can change your crosshair even as a Melee to make your spells change spots, in fact you should change your crosshair to be higher by quite a bit as melee if you are not you actually are griefing yourself.
