While I support each class having unique tweaks and abilites I dont see how it is fair for other classes to not be able to win group PvP contents just because you miss that one class. Shai buffs do not have counters or downtime (like protected areas do) and the Shai itself mostly can run extremely tanky evasion builds while providing FULL benefits to other classes. If you are starting to play group PvP content it becomes very apparent that you will only have chance of winning big group fights when you also have a Shai providing buffs to your team. There is not a single class that is as mandatory to have as a Shai. Most other classes can be swapped out or have downsides that you can use to try to counter them. Like range classes being extremely squishy and vulnerable in close combat but deal a lot of damage if not taken care of. I can see that nerfing these buffs will have a negative impact to the Shai class but how is it fair to not nerf a class that is negatively impacting the whole group PvP content just because of the sake of that class itself. I'd suggest to think of either nerfing these Shai buffs, having them have downtime, introducing actual counterplay to these buffs or reworking the Shai kit completely.

Hey bro its been 4 years. Be realistic, probably wont happen.

But, if you give actual buffs to the rest of the kit, down attacks, more protections, i dont mind a nerf in the buffs. 

But the problem with BDO is rather lack of effective support classes. Shai is a actual support, much more than others like Wizard, Witch, Valkyrie, which i stress that are also pretty much required for large scale. Or Berserkers, Corsairs (BSR). 
You cant really make the class not mandary when its the ONLY actual support class in the game. 
And i like to stress that she is not as tanky as you might think. She is only tanky in uncapped large scale because the players behind her put as much evasion/damage reduction as possible, and even then nowadays its not really tanky. A Striker, Mystic Corsair will be much more tanky than the Shai simply because of Evasion Rate passive, and overall better protection.

And then, take a look at Shai in capped, she is far from tanky. And she does pay a price for such potent buffs which is lack of protections and nerfed damage compared to every other class. The buffs are still pretty much very potent but if we were to nerf it, which i wouldnt mind, buff her solo capabilites a lot, otherwise, its not fair.

I don't mind the Shai kit rework but PA isn't doing anything for the class what we ask for. Most of the previous basic buff/nerf patches was mostly increase or decreasing her main florang damage attacks and nothing much on her talent kit. The class barely gets any attention so maybe it's pointless? I don't know! :x...

no matter how cool shai is, there are many windows of vulnerability and there is room to give control

I didn't ask to completely remove buffs. I was more so asking to find a solution where you not basically automatically lose whenever you do not find  a shai for PvP. Shai have different buffs: HP, Black spirit rage regenration, attack/cast speed + movement speed and debuff resistance which are all differently strong. If they made for example my ninja class deal no dmg anymore but it gives a 200 dp and ap buff for all other team members (so you'd need the class for the opposing team too to not lose) that would still require a nerf for the buffs in my opinion even if the class could not kill anything. I'm supporting variety of classes instead of forced meta. And just because I want shai buffs to be nerfed doesnt mean I want them to be useless nor it doesn't mean Shai couldn't be buffed in other parts of her kit (or reworked).

The solution is easy.

1) Redesign shai

OR

2) Delete shai

the only thing that really is to strong on Shai is misty. Even with the higher timer, its just to much in a game where ppl die to fast anyway. My solution: nerf misty for pvp into a 10% debuff and instead give Shai another skill, like a heal area on the ground that stays in place for X seconds.

If you're gonna nerf misty, get rid of striker 29% DMG ratio first. Misty is our only shot of killing them
