I have not seen anyone mention the fact that a server transfer will mean that you'll most certainly need to change your family and character names. Availability of family and character names will be very limited as the SEA server was merged with the TH server to form the current Asia server. I don't know about you guys but I am not going to settle for a stupid name like ShadowPotato42.

Valid but, I don't care. I'd transfer and take the name change hit if required. I don't understand PA not even thinking about offering a server transfer, I mean think about it. PA run both NA and SEA, so if I transfer they won't lose any money to me buying pearls on the other server.

Hell, I'd pay like $100 to transfer server.

There are no announcements in that regard but it is detailed in the Terms of Service. Australia and New Zealand are in the list of countries designated to the North American and European regions. This has been there since the launch of Black Desert in 2016 under Kakao Games and remains the same to this day.

This is what OCE players get when visiting Asia/SEA website. It's clear they want us to be on NA/EU servers at present. Hopefully they will change their stance now that our average ping will be 250+

I forgot that we had this list, but the point is pretty clear. It's not just AU/NZ either, as Fiji is part of the list of OCE players too, and I'm sure there are more.

Despite what some people think that us OCE players should cut our losses and start over, many of us have thousands of hours. I myself am personally at 23k hours. A server transfer, or proper management and multiple server locations are PA's only real options for deal with this issue. 260-300 ping makes any high level pve risky as hell, pvp becomes a joke, and while player skill and class knowledge can make up for some of it, the reality is that it's basically unplayable to any high standard.

If PA are going to insist that OCE players are supposed to be on NA, they need to get their act together and make us feel welcome.

I was told we get like 150 ping to sea and 250 ping to NA from new zealand now that the NA servers moved to central lmao..... STILL stuck on NA with high ping.

Pearl abyss should at least let us transfer all the pearls we brought from NA to SEA so we can start again without having to rebuy or else most people wont even bother coming back for the low ping.

I wont be swapping to sea because i have spent thousands on NA its just not worth it and its just too laggy to play NA so i am stuck. I dont mind about the gear but thousands of dollars in pearls for my pets and all i should be able to transfer all of that.
