We could also include Rowboats and Rafts, but with less slots and maybe less fish per minigame as they are smaller vessels.
Another ideas is also reforming hot zones, so the "exhausted" or "abundant" would be only for normal fishing, and for this active fishing method you would be encouraged to find a area with a lot of fish to be catch.

do NOT replace harpooning, just add drift net fishing. harpooning is actually fun, its just no-one wants to keep sailing small shitty fishing boats out to the open ocean, let us do all fishing from carracks inc your net system
