Even more ideal, we would have family wide combat gear. However, if I were to put myself in PA's shoes 1 fuel gear tags would be way easier to implement (since they're already part of an event in game, just make it permanent).
Stats to consider:
Playable Classes: 27
Playable Specs: 51
Specs allowed to be played before incurring a silver penalty: 2 - 4
(If you tag scholar/shai/archer you lose a spec)
Max Tag Cost: 4.5 bil
Average silver/hr: 1 bil - 1.5 bil
The current situation is, If i want to play Scholar, cool, i grinded the gear for it. If i want to play sage, It's 4.5 bil with triple pen blackstars which is increasingly more common. We're looking at 3 hours to fund me playing any class swaps. I played an hour of sage, it was fun, now i want to play Woosa. That's -3 more hours. Now I want to play guardian. -3 hours. Now I want to play archer. -3 hours. My homies just logged on and want to do oluns. Let me get on my shai. -3 hours. I've played 5 classes in 5 hours, made 7.5bil silver, but had to pay 22.5 bil silver to do it and it feels incredibly unenjoyable. Guess I'll stick to my 2 classes until they get stale and never experience the other 25.
Cons:
PA makes more $$ when I have to get more weight, outfits, and horse flutes on different classes (Con for my wallet, Pro for PA)
Keeps grinding feeling fresh by rotating classes, which results in me playing the game longer. (Con for my wallet, Pro for PA)

People who want to play more than 2 classes don't have to pay to play.
Class grind diversity.
Meta slaves expose dominant classes, influencing class balance (already happens anyway).
agree, and i'd also like to have a 2nd tag..
PVE char, PVP char, and a 3rd char that you're trying out
As someone that likes to play alot of classes would be nice honestly not to worry about spending 3-4 bill per tag.
I'd love to have a cheaper tag system. Also, after taking feedback from many friends a 3rd tag would be the best thing ever introduced.
The tagging price will continue to increase when Fallen God Weapons will be added to the game. =/
My friend, if you are swapping tags that often, you might as well just gear your chars separately.
Much cheaper tag cost and/or 3rd tag would be great.
I don't see a problem with letting players swap classes as much as they want, and the cost just seems punitive for no reason.
It costs me 3.5b to item copy now with 2 PEV BS weapons. Armor and accs only cost about 400 mil total. It's tough to cough up that silver when I still need to grind hundreds of billions of silver for upgrades.
