An example:

There is an awful hit lag appearing, this makes the gameplay very unsatisfying and clunky.

This is not the standard I am used to. I will call it a bug, because this is not acceptable.

I want to follow up this post with an update. The issue has not been resolved after todays patch, however they mentioned that they "slightly improved" it.

* Slightly improved upon the issue where some skills caused strong lag upon hits.

We would assume this means the skill hit lag most classes are experiencing after the patch at June 19th. Todays patch did not fix the Promtpness skill that the Valkyrie class utilises a lot during her combat; it's important for movement, cancelling skills and swapping between pre-awakening into awakening!

Here's an updated video comparing it to the skills hit lag before June 19th patch, after that patch and then today's June 26th patch. Thank you for reading.

Sorceress has the same problem. After today's patch violation "clinging" to mobs, it feels disgusting and completely unplayable.
Every hit you feel like your fps drops to zero or like you're hitting a rock with a scythe.

Confirm, sorc's violation is lagging while moving between mobs

I grind right before and after the maint for an hour each at gyfin under, and the diff is very obvious

Feel the same on awakening ninja's Katana Shower, Serpent Ascension and Murderous Intent. But tbh this skills were always laggy.

BTW tried sorceress Violation on mobs too, every hit now feels like a big fps drop.

I also came to this post because Sorceress Violation is basically broken right now. 300ms+ gap between phase 1 and phase 2 if you hit mobs.

As an update from my side with the testing results from certain classes.


Spiral cannon - If u dont hit anything travel distance - 10metters / If u hit a mob(s) or a player(s) the distance is halved to even some extent where the skill animation ends on the same spot skipping the travel distance.

Ferocious assault - If you are getting hit by a mob(s) or a player(s) during take of u will no longer do the "Air jump" animation and will instantly land. If you are getting hit mid-air , 5 out of 10 attempts u will be put back to the "take off" spot.


Spiral Torpedo - Same issue as Striker`s Spiral Cannon. I tested at gyfin under while being attacked by despair mobs. Started casting the skill at the front of Flamen and while being hit , and ended up right in front of him. The literal travel distance was 2 pixels.

Sea Burial - The forward moving animation is removed if u are getting hit at the start of the skill.

Infinite Fortitude (DR buff) - The skill animation is extended by up 2 seconds if u are getting hit from multiple sources. (Tested on Despair mobs on gyfin under and on Shai's bongo skill)


Deadly Dance - The forward moving animation is removed if u are getting hit at the start of the skill and u will spin on the same spot.

Dark Knight

Dusk/Dusk 2/Smoky Haze - If the skills are casted during cooldown (being unprotected), the moving animation is halved if you are getting hit.

Twilight Dash - The forward moving animation is removed if u are getting hit at the start of the skill and the skill will be cast on the same spot.

Still existing. No fix either on EU/NA or KR Patch. This is a clear bug, why it's not being worked on for every class instantly?

I am sad that they didn't address this problem yet. For me as a sorc PVE combat is really the opposite of smooth right now, the fps drops when violation hits monsters are crazy, and very noticeable delay when going from phase 1 to phase 2 -.-

OP did a great job portraying an issue with valkyrie, but there are many more things that are somewhat hard to 'put a finger on' without before and after clips like they did.

I find the silence on this issue unnerving, its instantly made grinding unfun on my valkyrie (both specs) from hit lag, to input lag to even more quick slot delay make the game feel like im on 200+ ping or playing with a very low frame rate on top of some flows not...flowing properly anymore.
