Concerning is putting it lightly. Why are you using so much dev time in R spam i do not understand. Please tell me those cutscenes are skippable unlike those in party 1. 
You are also really doubling down on the black shrine gimmick by forcing it into relevancy by tying sovereign weapon stuff into it. Are you really just following trends? "Oh people like pubg lets make a battle arena and then remove it from the game" Oh now people like ff14 lets add story to our game surely people will love bdo then"

The cutscenes were skippable in part 1, just not the storybook animations. Which IS annoying especially when you redo them with alts later but at least they're few and far between. It almost feels like the artist(s) doing those had it in their contract people WILL be forced to see their art.

I have to admit i do not like boss fights at all, especially not when it's From Software levels of hard (there's a reason i dont play those games). Harder actually, especially since I can't cheat in a mmorpg  While i do NOT normally like group content though, i'm hoping that the fact you have to do this as a group means I will be able to be carried through the content to a degree.  Or it will be so hard that every player will have to be perfect in which case all that will happen is people will probably yell at me and kick me out or something.  There is a part of my brain that cannot deal with very difficult bosses, maybe some sort of PTSD from the 8 bit era (I'm old). I've been there, ive done that type of BS content in my youth (let's face it the only reason these bosses were so hard then was because it took 20 minutes to run through the whole game else), i've beat impossibly hard bosses, I've got my medals, I dont WANT to be expected to learn mechanics and have a flawless fight for ten minutes anymore.  I dont have the patience for this stuff in (relative) old age 

Like Pit of the undying is fine, easy even, but this? Like level 6 and 7 blitz bosses? No.

The in engine cutscenes were not skippable in the first month or so. I do not know if they are skippable now. The storyboarded stylized cutscenes were good. I still dont like that I cant skip them but at least it has some quality to them. I love from software games and am currently playing shadow of the erdtree but this game does not have the suport of mechanics to try to pull boss fights. They suck from a gameplay perspective not because they are hard.

Yeah. Il admit im not qualified much to talk about From Software games having bailed on the first Dark Souls an hour into the game and never tried any other since, i just go by rep. But yeah this is exactly what bugs me, the fact that it's veyr much about luck and not just learning the patterns. Some don't even have patterns. Like Songakshi, who to be fair is not the hardest of all, but like ok so i know her attacks, but she spawns them randomly and it will happen at some point she will link two attacks that there was almost no way i could escape from except by luck since there was no way to know they were coming. winning fights 50% because of luck absolutely sucks. I dont feel rewarded when i win.

I forgot to add too that the reason boss fights will never feel fine tuned and fair in a game like BDO is because there is now nearly 30 classes and none of them really fight the same so you can't have boss patterns that properly take into account the way all classes move and attack. Which is EXACTLY why this is not the type of game in which you put hard boss fights that rely on a player's twitch skills because not all classes will be as quick. And sure there's iframes but like, i dont know about other classes but as a wiz my iframe skill has a fairly long cool down before i can use it again therefore i can avoid one attack with it only once every like 10 seconds. 

And if the answer to this is using another class better suited for boss fights, well this is exactly the problem, all classes should have an equal chance. I shouldnt have to make a new alt just to clear some bosses.

This is an MMO RPG - ROLE PLAY GAME - if you dont want story, go play some Shooter or MOBA. Story is big part of the game, guess why half the ball was about story..

you saying, as a dev you'd deliberately gimp your own game cuz "you know it better" and "players are morons who pay for your slob".

Lol dude pvp iframes and pve iframes are different you can continuously iframe on wiz until your Stam runs out. Same with most classes

Agree completely.

And i also loves the LOML Bossess. Exactly what the game needed. There is just so much bad players that needs to blame someone else, cause they don't want to admit they are bad at the game.
