Video Showing Prime Brimbolt Strike at Max Ion with Flow NO MISSES. 714 AP, 51+15(Add on) Human damage, crystals include corrupts for 22% crit damage and light stone set adds another 6% from Target Opening + giants for 10% (I used harmony- Human Elixir previously and saw no point). As of today, special evasion is no longer a thing. So that means that my Full ion strike with no miss and 100% crit/down damage did, what, 1k hp damage?

Explain to me Why Succession drakania REQUIRES ions to do literally no respective damage to someone on the GROUND. 

While another class requires absolutely nothing, has free and accessible damage 3 to 4 times more potent.

I was looking at typing something up for something similar, Granted this is not a Meagu Vs Drak thing..

Now that your special attack evasion is gone and you have Flat healing Succession Drak cant play off its survivability anymore so you dont have the reserves and healing to trade now. removing 44% special attack evasion for 2500 HP was a very bad trade off.

All of us are feeling this, classes like your awakened drak, guardian, awakened/succ Sage are going to excell. They completely reworked our hits, reworked DR.... then removed all special attack evasion ........

One shot meta... to good solid survivability  now back to 2 shot meta you can no longer survive in groups and it boils down to who has the most Iframes and lowest ping and highest damage. if your class is lacking in Protected damage you are D Tier in PVP now no matter your gear or skill.

Its a pure game of who plays Meta Class and has 5 Pen Debo's and all Tet armor <---- outside of that your garbage

I am less critical about the new 2-shot meta and more about the fact that a grounded target, was hit by arguably the most AP a succession drakania can utilized with a balanced build, with the hardest hitting skill and flow, while at max output, with 100% critical and down attack (due to them removing special evasion), with no misses and I do 1/10 of their hp. 

Edit: And if this is with Ions, "the mechanic to improve damage on succ drak", you can imagine what it is without ions. The class literally can't deal damage.

What they did have was durability... that is gone now.

I understand your point and I'm not unreasonable, every class should have some trade offs from survivability, mobility, CC capabilities, damage application etc. However, theres a threshold, where in this case, the class does almost too little damage to even be noticeable. I would argue that my particular class is literally imcapable of killing an equaly geared player as it stands. Keep in mind, at this moment Succ Drak can only accumulate 18 Ions, which equates to 6 skills. In this particular situation, even if I was able engage with a full tank of ions, utilize 6 skills as quickly as possible, I would still be only able to do about 50% of their hp, considering that the hardest hitting skill/flow did about 10%. (And other skills are logically weaker)


The Ion mechanic is also supose to be a reasonable trade off as an additional ressource management system, with a reward of damage and health regen when done well. The class's drawbacks being, limited CC application/no grab(Succ), animation locked casting and if you're out of Ions, you will do very little damage and receive no heals. An alternative option at that point, is to stand still to charge up the skill but remain immobile and vulnerable. 


But my main point remaind, If I am to discuss anything specific, the video depics an example of an optimal situation for maximum damage application (Ion/crit-damage/down-damage/no-miss) and yet a single health potion is almost sufficient to circumvent the damage. Can you now imagine non-optimal situations? 

I would also point out that Zerker's foundation is a similar concept to the survivability/mobility approach, and yet I can do very little to an equally geared zerker, while they can do quite a lot damage in a relatively short amount of time, with no ressource management.
