I was trading today after maintanance, so needless to say i had a LOT of buffs active. 

during the trade run a few textures started bugging out (becomming pure yellow / being replaced by other icons and such) 

After my trading session i decided to continue cooking, but the bugged textures got so bad half my screen was flashing yellow, unbearable to look at or play. So i closed the client and relaunched only to find 80% of my buffs were gone. I had 2 cakes and 2 10h buffs running that were just gone. As can be seen from the screenshots below. 1st Screenshot my buff bar is so big not all the buffs even fit on screen, 2nd screenshot all of the good buffs have disappeared and only guild buffs and GM buff remained. 

my buffs disappeared too but the cooldowns are all still there 

all the cases that are known to me which have a high chance of losing buffs:

[Irregularly losing buffs that is! This exludes overwrites with elixers-draughts and so on]

- jump into Magnus, spawn on its Marni server, and get back out

- death, however not on the character which has buffs, but its tagged character

- game or windows pc crashes after long BDO up-time
