PA I think you need to look at the node wars a lot more than what you are. It isn't even war. it is literally everyone trying to dive into a fort and get the last hit. Crappy change to be honest. At least in the older NW you were actively fighting teams. Yeah you smack some folks now but again its mostly just try to get last hit on tower. Makes it very boring and unfun. 

Spoiler : it's not only T1 node wars. 

T1s are actually the best ever situation you can get from this node war system, and it's horrible.
