To add some lingering on some archer protected static skills will improve his kiting abilities while not making him tankier or deadlier.
Lingering allows to better time the next skill. It is especially important to avoid some grabs. Verdure clout and mountain breeze are great skills in that matter. It also allows a slightly better stamina management. Here are the skills I think about :
- Ensnare (make the SA lasts the whole animation and not only the whole cancellable part of animation)
- Luthragon's call (only when used as a core skill, make the FG last until the end of kneeling animation, until character stands up)
- Radiant explosion (make the SA lasts until the far end of the animation)
In addition :
- Remove the useless unprotected uncancellable part of verdure clout with air smash. Nobody ever wanted to use that part of the skill. This is just a trap to make less skilled archer like me to commit suicide unintentionnaly
- Change the animation of crossbow 'E' skill (the throwing orb, I can't remember that name) to make it the same as directional + E. This skill is very situationnal, to faster its animation could make it more useful. Also one of the specialisation of the skill have '50% chance to stun'. I think this is bad, make it a normal 100% stun. Maybe people will use it more to benefit back attack, but it will still be very situationnal

Main issue with Archer is that, most skill are designed to use useful only on flat terrain.
I will add to Verdure clout a possibility to use Quick slot, like in Gapping Darkness
Bolt of Raddiance should get SA or FG, i do not have any PvP CC.
Full Bloom/Grand Bloom should get some love too.
After last "changes" Marked Bloom is PvE skill. PvP Dmg are overnerfed.
Sunfall has FG, Earth Shatter do not. I think we should get FG, while Earth Shatter with Sunfall is casted.
I will not type anything about Rabams, they should be just reworked.
Anyway most on Xbow skills should get reworks/tweaks,
at least half of them are just lock and forget
Guys, haven't you figured it out from the previous dozens of DEAD topics about archer? PA removed our class from the game. Calm down already. We're gone. Nobody reads these threads. Nobody in PA is working on our class. They will most likely buff warrior or "nerf" zerk. Once again... This is what they do every update.

In the way I play the Archer, I've identified a few things that would make the class much better. There’s an issue related to height differences on the terrain; usually, some ranged skills can't be used if the terrain isn’t flat. Luthragoon is fine, I don't think it needs changes. You can cancel the animation from Glide, S+F, or RMB, and you can transition into W+F or Meteor Dive (space) and a few other skills. Piercing Light has a problem with the long animation at the end, which makes you immobile and unprotected while standing still. As for core skills, you have Uproth for low-range and Full Bloom for range. I would like to see Low Sweep receive an SA or Iframe because you can do a lot of animation canceling with it, but it’s unused because it’s unprotected. Although this ability seems pretty useless, it would greatly enhance the class's movement and make it much smoother. There have been good changes made recently, so I can't complain; the class is really good now, and with these small changes, it would be (in my opinion) a very balanced class.
