What does the Node War guilds think? Will they issue a response to the death of Siege and Node Wars, go radio silent, or offer a limp (word redacted) apology at the next ball like that South Park meme?
The node war mechanics require reevaluation. While the current system was initially enjoyable, it lacks sufficient incentive for guilds to engage in fort competitions, leading to an environment resembling "Flag Wars." I propose either the following options for improvement:
1. Revert to classic node war mechanics, allowing guilds to select their areas once more.
2. Maintain the current changes but introduce rewards for guilds that are officially registered on the roster for basic rewards.
3. Explore new mechanics, possibly incorporating a Domination-style warfare or King of the Hill format. Additionally, consider implementing various game modes that could either be determined by votes from participating guilds or randomized if there are no votes.
Pearl Abyss, it is important to recognize that the game's appeal is diminishing. While the game is unique, its singularity will not suffice to retain players. Throwing a bone to the mass can help once in awhile, yet it may not be enough to sustain the current player base, particularly as PVP players are leaving in significant numbers. To address this, it is crucial to implement changes that appeal to both PVE/Lifeskillers and PVP participants.
Once again, I recommend eliminating the "consent" GvG. Implementing a structure of 1-3 normal servers, paired with 4-6 PVP-restricted servers, would cater to players who prefer a more peaceful experience. Furthermore, reverting karma loss amount to previous changes could help bring back red players to normal servers, while those who wish to avoid conflict could designate their home channels on the PVP-restricted servers. Players prefer the thrill the battle, yet you have destroyed the thrill it once had due to people who prefer no conflict. These servers and changes will definetely help accomodate both play styles.

Or just reinstate one sided/non consent deccs but put timers and cooldowns on them
The new nodewars, need to just be removed. I would say even keep them as an option for the casual/life guilds, since T1 is packed with beginner/casual guilds, and I believe this content serves them greatly.
Give the bigger, organised, uniformed guilds what they want. Base vs Base, strategic uniformed warfare.
Where skill matters, where working together matters, where gear progression is relevant.
I have quit this game, hoping it gives me a reason to return, and its just because I busted ass, grinding day in and day out to compete in pvp.
Now it jusst feels pointless to even log in.
