Guild League is prevented from happening, especially during weekends, because Node/Siege Wars are currently run with "diplomacy" - there is not much or any fight happening at all. 1–2 players from each war participating guild are afk in their posts and forts, maxing out the war duration time as a protest to current PvP and Node War changes.
I get why they want to protest and script the wars. I don't get why other players that don't participate in these, are supposed to be blocked off from other PvP content that bdo has to offer till those diplomats run out of afk time. If a PvP guild had enough of members, they could send a group to do siege and a group to do Guild League if content d be available at the same time.
I love guild league, so I never understood why they needed to remove it for ranked AoS and stop it during nodewar (or... stop it at all really, same with ranked AoS -- just do seasons. Why are we only allowed one or the other? Part of the reason this game is dying (and we have graphs to show it is) is the lack of content. Just show us how many other guilds (or AOS groups) are in queue so we're not queueing up with 1 or 2 others and wasting our time -- my guild failed to match 3 times immediately after nodewar on Wednesday. Sad state.
Why am I grinding for gear when I meet the capped requirements right out of season? League, Seige and Open world is pretty much the only uncapped content in the game (T3 NW too but its non-existent lol). One could argue PvE is uncapped, but a lot of it is (LOL) and if thats all your doing, then you're literally only grinding for 'number go up'. Im not one for grinding so I can grind higher tier spots so I can grind for even higher tier lol, that's the journey, the thing that makes your goal worth it -- but it's not the end goal. Tuvala Timmy -- straight outta season, is literally endgame. Thanks, PA! Imagine thinking your game will survive when you only need to play ~200 hours to have everything you need to play 90% of the content. Dont even need to grind much since the market tanked so hard that PEN offins (if you even want that) is an hour of oluns lol.
Noone does T2 or T3 nodewars anymore. Seige is basically *only* diplomacy (imagine PA trying to get rid of diplomacy only to make seige *exclusively* that lol) with a leading guild literally deciding who gets what ranking, while they take the castle. War of the roses is so one-sided geologically that its mind-blowing to me that they dont see an issue when Kamasylvia wins every time. Then again, looking at AoS rankings we can see PA struggles with the concept of "balance" as Berzerker absolutely, unquestionably dominates it. I get some classes are better than others in 1v1, small scale and large scale, but... no single class should have *that* much of a lead over every other class.
PA is focusing on new players, sure. But at the cost of their old players. Couldn't help but notice the distinct lack of whales feeding the market on NA lately. The number of top players quitting and dumping their gear onto market. You've gone from a dedicated hardcore playerbase to a revolving door, many people exclusively logging in to 'get their bag', logging in once or twice a month (or year!) to tap their free hammers and disappearing again. And new players play their 2 weeks, get all the freebies, and then can do everything every other player does except grind top end spots for content that barely exists.
The game has devolved into fantasy life sim. People using it as an escape or casual play. No need to be hardcore because everything is given to them just for being logged in for 9 days and doing 4 hours of quests, and already meeting the cap requirements for all the content people actually play before they even leave Olvia servers.

I understand your frustration well, tho there were so many forum threads describing the bad state of the game that they could make a book out of it now. I only wanted to bring a point to GL, cos recently it was only uncapped PvP content me and my friends have enjoyed.
Adding queue display d be great to prevent waste of time. Nothing frustrates more than real time wasted waiting for nothing.
After I played this game for 55k+ hours, and being around 739gs, tried out almost every content in the game, there is nothing really refreshing and the p2w aura hangs heavily over gameplay. Even being high gear doesn't guarrante fun as it may turn out the class you liked is just utterly misbalanced on PvP and PvE, unless you chase fotm.
P.S. I just think they can't run PvP content at the same time cos 1: severs d break, 2: there are not enough players.
Make it so we can 10v10 with allied guilds as well. If we don't have enough members/lacking a certain class.
