I appreciate that the mage summon finally got some changes in response to it being incredibly squishy with all the new caps and AP, but it's not enough and, frankly speaking, the wrong direction.

For those that don't know, the mage summon is based off of the caster's DP/Evasion. The reason the summon used to be nearly invincible outside of niche abilities/attacks was because it was simply too tanky/unhittable. But with all the AP/Accuracy creep now for both players AND mobs, this isn't the case anymore. Doubling the HP simply doubles the amount of time it takes to kill the summon, and the summon dies really really fast with the new zones. I went to lvl 2 Dehkia Ash and the pet died 3 times in an hour post buff.

The summon needs to be untied from the mage skill buffs and it really needs to just be invincible. Having to summon the damn thing in NW or GLeague on repeat is super annoying, and some of the new boss/dungeon mechanics require you to unsummon it to begin with.

Yes it should.
PA has been told this many times.
Other classess already have this benefit.
But you're forgetting that PA hates casters, especially awakened casters, and in particular, Wizard..
