People already have X:Sov. Weapons in less than 24h. 

When I enchanced my PEN Blackstar I was over the moon. Finally I had something to show. Now everybody get one for free. 

And that´s nothing. Imagine those people who had to enchance Deboreka with Cron-Stones. It doesnt matter how much you play the game. Tuvala-Timmy will always start just one step behind you. Whats next? Hmm I guess now that I have a PEN: Deboreka Necklace Tuvala-Timmy gets one TET Deboreka-Box for free?

Why buying Deboreka now if you can wait for min. price? Playing the game is like buying stocks that are about to go down.

I had no problem with braindead grinding. I have problems with items beeing worthless after a while and giving people too much for free. 

Imagine you grinding in Valencia and your character is jumping beacuse you dropped a 4 million ring. Gratulations, your dopamine level increased by 0,00005%. I remember grinding normal crescent shrine. I loved it! Opening those spoiled rings was exciting. People can just skip everything. Why bother with oger if you can go straight to deboreka. Imagine if you can evolve PEN: Crescent ring into a better version like Deboreka Ring and you can enchance it like armors after that, with memory frags and some rare materials.

The Accessoire enchancement is EXTREMLY TOXIC. All my PEN Accessoires I made by buying TETs and using a huge failstack to PEN it just beacuse I wanted my name on it.

The Anvil-System was a huuuge WIN.

I dont want to invest more time in this game just to see Tuvala-Timmy getting everything for free. 

The PEN:Blackstar was too much. If Tuvala-Timmy gets lucky with the TET Blackstar he can jump right into Sov. Weapon. Thats insane. 

Nothing holds the same significance in the game anymore. After returning from a two-year hiatus, I quickly obtained my Mythic Doom, a complete Slumbering Origin armor set, a PEN Blackstar Mainhand, and a basic PEN Capotia set with relative ease, as they were readily available. This has left me feeling less satisfied with my progress compared to before my hiatus, when I attained PEN Kzarka, Dandelion, and Kutum.

While I understand the intention behind helping new players catch up with veterans, I believe the current approach is misguided. As noted by OP, players can simply relax and claim the complimentary gear being offered. This situation also affects the Carracks and Mythics. I invested significant effort into my Carrack, and the recent changes have undermined the hard work of myself and others.

I have a suggestion for PA: either simplify the game to the point of boredom or provide the challenge that seasoned players desire and new players can experience. Yes, the process of gaining gear can be frustrating, but the rewards make it worthwhile in the end, and that sense of achievement is what new players are missing. Instant gratification can undermine many valuable experiences beyond just the gaming realm.

Forced group bosses with frustrating mechanics, this aint a dungeon grinder themepark game, ppl dontz know how to do mechanics its horrible.

Sov weapons not sell able YET, im sure they will be soon™, because im not gonna do the failstack game its horrible time waste.

i dont care about tummala timmy catching up i do care about my equpment losing value so hard its a joke...

lunar neck price was ten times +++  more when i bought it, same goes for turo belt and most other stuff my character wears.

they took literal dump on peoples efforts. 

and this is without even going into issue of them killing pvp.

All these gifts and catch-up mechanics are a result of power creep and a bad level phase. This is the natural progression of any MMORPG that is focused on linear and vertical progression. Especially with this absurd power scaling of BDO, where you one shot everything in PvE and PvP if u have 10 AP more then before, you either have to go this way as a dev, or need to nerf and rework all stats and power mulitplier.

Games like Guild Wars 2 or Albion don't have these problems even after all these years because the progression isn't vertical, it's horizontal. BDO must continue to have linear-vertical progression because of its monetization, otherwise its business model makes no sense.

If you don't want an MMORPG whose progression is devalued by Time, then you are playing the worst possible MMORPG with BDO.

Yes.  Money grubbing by gear inflation is their business model.  It's not fun for us, but PA makes money.

I honestly don't think people really care much anymore, those that did left the game leaving some of us stragglers that really are bearly logging in as is.

The new content is oh hum....

I know I am going to get down voted but literally the decline is so obvious at this point your insane if you don't see it.

Not even trying to be a doomsdayer, 3 days after a new area, new weapons, new accessories AND the holy grail of PVE content literally has not even gotten out of negative numbers...

After all the influx of players grabbing there sovereign weps in case PA changes the ability to use 2 BS.. most will wait till the market is flooded with new enhancement mats and then buy some to spam.

I realize that steam numbers are not 100% of the community but they are around 50%.

The 1st time in the history of this game that new area not only fell flat but couldn't bring avg players back to BDO.

CASH GRAB, Whatever you want to say but I think a certain head of the development dept. needs to resign and allow a new direction to come to be.

So i bought all my 5 pen debos earlier this year. The last one was just a few weeks back actually. Yeah that's over a trillion silve but i'd been gathering that money for a LONG time as someone who doesn't enhance. With the current debo market crash if i'd waited just four months or so I'd have saved myself 500 bils total. See.... I know gear devalues over time, new stuff is released, it's the nature of mmorpgs. But it doesn't hit the same when you spent all that money 2 or 3 years before the stuff dropped in value by half or more. Even a year. Right now I literally paid 300 bils a few weeks back for a ring that is now worth 60 bils less and that in a further week will probably be worth a 100 less. i'm thinking right now there was no reason why i couldnt have waited to get all my debo pens if i'd known PA was about to crash the market. And i'd have 500 bils to put into sov enhancement at least. 

What we have here is a company trying to make progress in its game way easier because it's trying to retain a dwindling playerbase. And like sure,,,,, for the people who didnt have that stuff they're probably glad right now. For those who were ahead of the majority of players though...
