Maybe the idea is cool (although community didn't ask for it) but the implementation is extremely poor. Let me clarify:

- "Changed the camera effects upon first logging into the game"

Actually it happens not only once but every time you log in any of your characters.

- "they will first appear without the UI displayed"

Also not exactly true - some chracters do not have UI while others has UI turned on as usual.

- "you find your character facing the screen -to help you build a closer bond with your character"

Most of the time I'm watching my back or even worse - the back of my horse. Perfect bond, gg!

Suggestions:

- make this crap optional, nobody wants it

- finally make the camera max zoomed out by default so no need to roll mouse scroll wheel over and over again on every character switch

What the actual hell PA, this is some disfunctional garbage that nobody even asked for in the first place.
Maybe try to be quirky when the rest of your game isn't burning down in a dumpster fire. All this sh*tshow bs of the past month, and this is where dev effort and time goes to?

Also.. Closer bond to your character? Really? for 8 years without this feature I've bonded plenty with my main and all my alts.
And just like with the fishing/regular stance thing STILL not having a rebindable key option... (even though you've even changed the damned icon so you're capable of working on it and have done so)
Once again it's an impossible ask to at the very least make it an option people can choose to enable/disable in the settings menu for crying out loud.

Did anyone happen to mention that this also affects coming out of "observe" modes?  Yeah...

I totally thought this was a BUG, since it would make sense in this game. I even submitted a ticket and they told me to delete cashe files and mabey something else. Why didnt they just tell me its a new feature?? It seems ppl are clueless as to what's going on around there

the feature was part of the patch notes

the problem is that this "feature" is so shit that everyone assumed it was a bug because there was no way anyone thought this was a good idea

There's an update in today's global lab patch about this.  They're making it so it only happens the 1st time you log in to the game each time, and it won't happen when you switch characters.  We should get this fix next week.

its not changed to 1st time u login to the game, its first time u login to each character

step in the right direction but just delete this entire feature
