This YouTube video by Zeroden Hunter nails it with the problem with advancing Sovereign Weapons, and that is buying Crons stones from the NPC vendor or melting outfits from the Pearl shop just does not feel good, there's no dopamine kick from a sense of accomplishment. BDO needs more ways to get Cron Stones for pinnacle progression.
