This is going to fall on deaf ears but the Manors need a serious overhall. Attached are a few screenshots of my Manor, filled to the brim with lighting to the point where it looks completely RIDICULOUS and theres NO LIGHT AT ALL. Its dark. Looks like a haunted house from Temu. If you're going to ruin PVP, at least fix the lifestyle crap. I havent spent money on this game in a while, I can't imagine anyone else is at this point, but that conversation is for some other time.

I support this change.

The manor appears quite dark, despite the lighting fixtures that have been installed. The chandeliers should have a higher light output and a larger radius. The same applies to the lamp posts and lanterns. The candles are acceptable as they are, given their intended lower light level. Additionally, I suggest significantly increasing the light level when the windows are open, as natural sunlight should naturally brighten the room. Please consider these adjustments, or provide an option to modify the overall light level.

It is wild to me how different Manors look on various setups.

My Manor's lights are so bright I can't see anything around them. Especially anything close to a wall. It's like a giant bright white. So bright there is nothing other than white.

^ This is all on Remastered.

I'm thinking BDO doesn't have anyone hired who knows about lighting for different PCs/monitors. It's the only MMO with this issue. I've seen housing in ESO, AION, ArcheAge, Enshrouded, FFXIV, etc. No other game has such extremes of what players experience with lighting.

Noticed now...

I think those potted trees are the blinding white trees? I can't put them down in any house because they hurt my eyes they are so bright.

If there was a specific dev we could email with our PC specs, monitor, and screenshots of what the game looks like to us... that might help. In Western games, we get an idea of which dev is in charge of what.

But with Korean games and the language barrier, I'm not sure how we would do that.
I don't even know if there is a cultural difference because I have never seen anyone in charge of lighting be introduced by Pearl Abyss.
