i was able to do it with an awak guadian. shift q, shift f, shift lmb, s+rmb ... plenty of options.
skill issue, you can do it.
It's a waste of my time, poorly explained in game and out, and does not at all work well enough for all classes, especially for a main quest.
edit: <spoiler tags needed here!>
For something that needs to be repeated to learn, it moves slowly at the start, between tests, and at the end. It's not even clear when you fail at first. Why wait for the one-shot when you can just escape?
There's two "phases" with two tests each, so you don't have to repeat all four on a fail.
Phase 1 - timing and boxes.
For the "timing" test, have to wait until the orbs have locked into the center of the auras, then hit them. It's only a moment. They may not arrive in both auras at the same time, in which case you need two skills in quick succession. Or just fail that round and wait for another where they both arrive at the same time. You get five fails before it wipes you. I thnk it needs five successes to pass. Not clear, if it's keeping track someplace I didn't see it.
For the boxes, stand next to him in the green circle, then as soon as you get unstunned, run at one box without stopping. You don't have to attack it. I just kept picking the one on the far left. What's the point here? I think this one allows two fails - ? Just need to succeed once.
Phase 2: sun/moon and fake mob.
For the sun/moon, don't hit one side (sun or moon) too much, you want to just get the orb to ease into the center. No fails allowed on this one? Just need to succeed once.
For the fake mob, stand in the damage area for each, one at a time, and if you don't take any damage in one, that's the one you attack and kill. This one seemed straighforward, so I don't know if it allows multiple tries. Just need to succeed once.
This was not entertaining, and I didn't need an extra hour tacked on to an already slow set of main quests. That are all in Korean still, by the way. That language seems to take a lot longer to say things in than English. I feel like I'm being punished for actually trying to follow the story instead of skipping through everything - well, except where I am forced to take it, like with this "trial".

Yep its a joke that the quest even exists like that, Pearl Abyss keeps taking L after L this year. LOML p2 is one of the biggest ones although the pvp disaster is by far worse.

I can tell you, that for awak DK which obviously has the skills/aoe required to pass this, I failed it too, only because IT IS NOT CLEAR when it is pass and when it is fail. I did everything properly, including hitting the orbs when they are inside the auras, and still failed. How many times needed so to pass this? Not clear. Where exactly? Not clear. When exactly? Not clear.
I also had bug when it returned me to the first puzzle one of the times, and then the second time when I did exactly the same thing, started the orbs again.
Bugged/unclear puzzle In the middle of the main questline. 0/10 design.
PHEW.
*btw, for classes like Shai and Scholar it is impossible. Maybe care for these classes too, PA? Or best of all, delete this bugged puzzle altogether!
well i had to watch a video to find out how to get it done because they do not rreally tell you what todo to get it done it also like the pit of the undieing they do not tell you what you need todo with out watch a video on it something they do a bad job at tell you how to get it done.

This shouldnt be a requirement for any game, Lost Ark required the same video guide bs and that game is pretty much dead. Most players arent interested in something that requires watching a guide to figure out. Attoraxeon afaik is rather dead and it required watching videos to figure out. Pearl Abyss needs to stop trying to compete with Lost Ark for raid complexity, LOML was a complete waste of time and In my opinion its throwaway content you do once and never return. BDO needs replayable fun content not boring press R to skip simulators. Jae needs to forget about the LOML and kick it down to an instanced only area available via the magnus and build port ratt. LOML is a not an expansion its a patch. If BDO wasnt established and they launched LOML the game would close. Im sorry but LOML isnt up to par of any MMORPG and Jae should be ashamed that he wasted time on it. The only reason part 1 got a bump in players is Lost Ark was struggling at that time. Pearl Abyss misunderstood the bump in players and if BDO wasnt established they would have lost the entire game over it.
The blue clad youth questline is a most unpleasant experience. I was happy following all of the main questlines until I reached this "puzzle" quest in the blue-clad youth questline. I enjoyed the puzzles in the Magnus questline which instills a feeling of acomplishment once completed. This blue clad youth puzzle quest does not appear to be very fun at all. Having spent over an hour attempting this quest, I have now abandoned it as futile. Unfortunately, it cannot be skipped so my questing days on BDO have come to a grinding halt. This one quest has ruined my entire experience of BDO which until now has given nothing but enjoyment.
Shift-Z Rabam (the big aoe one), Awakening ShiftQ, Awakening shiftF for 2 orbs
shift X -> RMB or Awakening S+RMB (Hold) or Shift RMB (Hold, jump from one orb to the other) for 2 subsequent orbs
Anything for single orbs
