1. go to a production node

2. select a worker from a connected town

3. press Start Work

4. Error "...node production destination." as shown in picture

5. Restart the game, that fixed the problem for me

The problem reoccured on a different node, restart does not fix it.

This has been happening to me since last week, as well. I've seen people in the Lifeskill discord discussing it, too.

I have hired new workers and they cannot be placed on any nodes in the region sometimes. I've done both the new region with freshly invested nodes and hired workers in older regions with nodes I already had investments in. It does not happen with all workers. I have tried placing the workers on different nodes, releasing the node and then investing in it again, and the issue has persisted through several game restarts. It seems to happen with level 1 workers who are either freshly promoted or who have been newly hired.

I'm having the same issue. In OP's case, I found that if you have other workers below lv 40 from the same town as the first worker in the list (in this case, Godu Village), those workers will work.
