Can you now let heilang do damage again? and act like he used to? a free roaming companion as he used to be?
The PvPers that encouraged you to ruin our class so they could feel big and strong have left.
Can we have our class back now?
Is that fair to ask finally?
Further Clarification:
I think the biggest mistake with Karazad was that you continuously interrupted our year's progress. In some cases, YEARS, of progress by preventing us from FINISHING Debos with dropping Sov weapons onto us and THEN these Karazad right on top of each other.
This basically took what was going to be THE END for those of us workign on these things to HAVE A BREAK and instead... extended it. You get TET? Well, now you not only had it devalued by half. You had to get ANOTHER PEN EARRING ... PEN BLACKSTAR ... and what? TWO other DEBOS in a few weeks. Part of this being a huge surprise on some random morning in September with no warning. A complete break from anything we've ever had in the game before. The total erasure of our account progress monetarily. Thus, eliminating our economic agility and fore-planning.
It really was that we were FINALLY .... hundreds upon hundreds of hours in ... NEARLY DONE ... with accessories.
And you just ripped out from under us and said, "Haha, you thought you were done with 300 billion silver grinds? No! You're doing it twice. For twice the cost." Because that extra Pen Blackstar was 100 billion, the loss of the TETs to convert to Karazad is 80 billion. 160 if you got them when they were 80 each. You could have just bought all 6 pens had you never done any of this in late August. Then to have even that option aborted on some random two hour window following your announcement of completely flipping the table on all former social contracts since launch to rush this new accessory out there. SO... what?
We can grind 600 billion silver now? To get to where we would have been had you just waited a month or two? And released these in late November? Or even December?
Everyone is sick to death of grinding these idiotic accessories. And that's what it is. A kind of malicious idiocy to most people who feel like they are just being told to go grind in a circle, over and over. You took away group grinding to the best of your ability besides Oluns. Won't release any new content. Just stuff for newbies that realy doesn't even help the newbies. Because... well... no one wants to play a game alone.
You don't seem to understand that it is EXHAUSTING. This content.
And you just refuse to release any group content.
This goes into exhaustion. It's not as hard to grind when you've got a few other people doing it.
And it never ever seems to occur to you to release even ONE tower grind that is group based.
- You also never give us the OPTION to convert any given spot WE LIKE into one for US and OUR FRIENDS.
No matter how many YEARS we have asked this of you you have consistently removed group content. And then doubled down and removed it again. Largely by preventing us to get loot when playing with a friend doing it. Or making the loot utterly meaningless.
That, for sure, is malicious. Not to us. To you. It's just raw damage to your company for no other reason than willfulness.
And then you took away Mounted Combat.
You're one of the only games in the industry to have had fully realized mounted combat. So what do you do? Delete it.
- Seriously, fire this person. Whoever gave you that idea just fire them.
Then you also removed Soaring Arts.
- Oh my god. The players having fun WE DIDN'T direct them to do. DELETED.
Why won't you let us climb on things? Couldn't you have just left it in the game as a "mode"? Reward us for enjoying your game. Not punish us by deleting self-made fun we were enjoying?
Gyfin was good, but you didn't realize an Elvia Upper Gyfin did you? And where id Dekhia Mirumoks? Are you ever going to do that or does that run against your anti-fun policy of no-grouping allowed?
Do you see what I'm getting at?
You are like... on this assault agaisnt the player base. Dragging things out. Refusing to PRESERVE existing content. Destroying already well established content. And FORCING us to either... run around in a circle as content (old grinds usually) or run around in a small circle (dekhia).
To your credit:
You finally made some PvE content, but again you did your best to block it from being wholly accessible. A player who finishes hardmode cannot go to regular mode. A player who didn't do that boss this week can't join their friends on the same boss (they aren't asking for rewards... just to play with friends. Why is this hard to understand? Why?)
It just... doesn't make sense. You go out of your way to make something that could be for pure enjoyment as denied to access as you possibly can then make what you do make as scant and rarified as your imagination can come up with.
Sometimes what people want is very easy:
1. a dungeon to roam
2. a place to grind (along or together without moving) that has nice scenery to look at
3. a place to grind that they can move about and roam
4. the option to go to places they HAD enjoyed (this is what Dekhia should have been) without having to be TOLD what that is.
People just feel like each time they get to the end of this gear-treadmill we've been on you just... extend it and extend it... but you promise new content and it never really happens. 100 floor dungeon? Are you really going to do that or are you just going to string us on again? Is it really going to be a dungeon or is it going to be Mirruwaks? Can I really bring my friends? Is that really going to be a thing you'll let us do?
Right now you'd be heavily rewarded for making a PvE region that runs like Guild Wars 2 runs. Where everyone can group up (or not) and do whatever they feel like there. In whatever gear they've got. And it just does some % based damage towards the whole. Or heck, try that out with those winter region petrified wood things you can give energy. Let people group grind that that way. And don't pay them some worthless amount of money. Recognize their gear. We know you can code. And reward them accordingly
Basically, save your game. Stop having destructive behavior.
