BDO has received alot of quality of life stuff over the years, which is great.

However, something that has been a thorn in my side ever since I got back.

Is that there is alot of things that forces you to have done prior main story quests

and it doesn't matter if you have done all the quests before on other characters.

Which is really annoying for a game that almost promotes playing/trying more classes. (Tagging, weapon change coupons and so on)

So what happend is that I got back to the game, LOML II had been released.

I decided to play an awakening dosa which had just dropped.

I had to spend alot time doing alot of old stuff before I got anywhere.

I had to redo LOML 1, and then I were able to do LOML 2.

I had to complete the Mountain of Eternal Winter questline in order to do the quest for Labreska Helmet.

and in the future I will have to repeat Valencia in order to go to Ulukita.

Im sorry, this is an old system that really needs some quality of life. You shouldn't have to do the same story again, unless you choose too.

Let us start any quest if you've done the previous ones on any character.

Or let us talk to the black spirit to finish the entire quest line we've done before. (without the rewards)

TLDR Swapping classes puts down a unecessary barrier between you and progression.

Where you're forced to repeat certain main quest stories in order to keep going.

So I would like to see this system changed and improved.

Yes please, I had the same issue with LoML Seoul and ultimately gave up on doing part 1 again with another character, I just had to stick with the previous one who already did it -and couldn't experience the new MSQ with a new class
