Okay, I'm from Texas. I hate the whole Cowboy western thing - only because it was like EVERYWHERE growing up. It's kind of like hearing a song that you like that ends up getting played way too much and then you get sick of it... plus my dad was like really into it. Cowboys and western movies and the whole culture of it is not bad or lame... it just kind of became annoying after growing up with it around. Anyways, I'm not saying I won't like this upcoming Gunslinger class... with a fantasy element added to it, it just might make it really cool to me. Kind of like Stephen King's Dark Tower series - cause that's really cool.

So, another thought occurred to me about the possibilities of the new class. I know that there is the Demon Lands up North above Valencia. What if the Gunslinger class' story is linked to that region? I'm thinking the Gunslinger would be like Van Helsing - he was a gunslinger of sorts - and he killed vampires and demon creatures. Maybe this is the class that introduces us to that new area. Thoughts?

Get ready for reused archer and ranger animations but a way faster class, super good first 2-3 months and then gets nerfed again.

The nerf is expected... but hopefully the animations will be some new, fun stuff and not a recycled bunch.

If it's not a gril with massive bazoombas in tight jeans and a cowboy hat that greets you with "Howdy Pardner" in a Southern accent upon login, I am not intereseted. 

Or maybe because they're fun in video games? I loved gunslinger in Blade and Soul and Lost Ark. As well as Gunner in Tera. It'd be cool if there was a magical twist to it like an arcane gunner or something. A gunslinger that uses magically infused bullets or something. Have the combat type be magic with mana/magika as the class resource. I'm looking forward to how they implement it. It will be a hit because of the fast paced action combat this game has to offer. I just wish we could choose our race and gender rather than have it be chosen or decided for us (race and genderlock). I hope it will be a class that has BOTH genders at some point. Especially since gunslinger type classes are VERY popular in games! I'd LOVE to play as an Elf (female) gunslinger, lol. Taking the Ranger ideologies and tweaking it a bit. Or maybe she could be a Vedir (of the Ahib) who uses dark sorcery infused bullets (similar to Bayonetta). Have the gun(s) covered in arcane runes. A human gunslinger wouldn't make sense (in my opinion). A Dwarf artificer/inventor type would make the most sense. Followed by an Elf for a more arcane/magic focused vibe (spellwork and guns).

Shai gunslinger! PA giving us what people ask for shai to be playable in pve combat, yet still ignoring shai players. I joke but.....

I will be shocked though if the gunslinger does not come with heels

I will not play this new class, especially if it's female.

Now, 60% of my characters are female, so I'm not being mysogynist.

I'm just tired of this tired, uninspired game remaining tired and uninspired.

PA needs to spend time and effort fixing all the broken stuff in this game.  I need not list it here, as there are thousands of posts concerning class balance, unfinished (no housing, or development) areas, bugs, etc., etc., etc... soundtrack, etc., etc.  Adding a new class is not going to solve anything.

Dosa did nothing for this game.

Scholar definitely did nothing for this game.

Woosa and Maegu did nothing for this game....

All we got were broken classes, that needed fixing or serious nerfing.  Slinger is going to be the same sad story.

There are plenty of female classes to buy outfits for, and apparently, outfit releases don't save this game either.

Outifts anymore are bought to be melted for Cron Desert Online.

Demon Lands, and Gunslinger won't save this game, PA.

Fixing the game and letting the players play as they want to..... that might.

I'm tired of watching a great game being killed by bad decisions.

I never understood why, up until recently, devs were saying firearms were not fitting with BDO universe and lore. I mean, they just showed the lore was perfectly OK for these weapons?!

Well, given the teaser, maybe we can also expect the sheriff system to come back from the dead, where it was sleeping with many abandoned ideas ? Copium, copium... XD
