Character:  Picklenose

You had a chance to make other fishing spots in the game worthwhile to fish at.  As it stands now, the only spots worth fishing at are velia, hakoven, and starry midnight port.  You can probably add in mediah sea around altinova, and byukgye island.

Almost all of the new prize fish added are way too rare to make any other spot worthwhile to fish at.

Looking at Hakoven, Mediah Sea, and Velia (all the same for these 2 fish), you have a 5% prize catch rate (with 2000 fishing mastery), then within that 5% you have a 30% rate at yellow corvina and 10% rate at blue bat stars, with most of the remaining 60% being relic shards, and a crap % at the new prize fish in these zones.

At Byukgye Island you get a decent rate on bigfin reef squids, plus 0 to 2 southern rough shrimp per night.  Overall it's not horrible once you sell at Valencia.

These zones you can average 70 to 100 mil per hour.

Now let's look at Lake Flondor, where they added the 1 mil Pink Dolphin.  You probably average 150 to 300 mil per night there.  It's horrible.  The catch rate for the pink dolphin is equivalent to Elten piece drop rate.

Pretty much every other zone, you just threw in some ultra rare bone.  It would have been much better to throw in more low value prize fish that you can realistically catch 1 to 2+ per hour (like the yellow corvina and blue bat stars).  The idea should have been to spread people out.  We already had like 75% of afk fishers in velia, now it's even worse.  Everyone is either in Velia or fishing for that migaloo fish, and can't blame them because those are the only spots that make decent money.

And let's point this out..  the safe zones should NOT be the best money spots for fishing.

They need to get rid of the entire abundancy mechanic and learn how to actually balance drop rates.

But then again, PA has demonstrated innumerable times over the past 10 years that they don't have the slightest clue in hell how their own RNG algorithms even work.
