I tried out the new free dragon mount. I won't lie, but I was only flying around all my gametime. And have to say, never had such a blast, the way you fly around on that big dragon, it feels so cool

Also it helps new players who do not have a ship to get around.

It also shows the world to new people.


Worst thing. it will be removed in 14 day,  I'm really debating if its worth to keep playing afterward, you give us something cool and take it away.

The PVP dragon do not count, 99.99% are not going near that thing, even if they played 24/7

Well, what good is a gliding pegasus when you have complete acress to a flying dragon?

They need to stop adding content that makes prior content completely irrelevant.

Have you not noticed the Dragon is slower? It's main use is going over rocky terrain like lol and dreigan. Horses are better litterally everywhere else.

 I'm already posting things now just like this thread because its a bad choice for devs to tease a feature like this and then lock it behind top 1% of pvp guilds as I have a hunch  it will be. Locking a specific type of dragon behind pvp fine but not the entire flying system!

Someone made some great suggestions in another thread.

1. Make the Dragon obtainable from doing guild stuff will prob need a new system something interesting reasont o play with guild both pvp and pve stuff earns something to get everyone into he guild thier own flying mount over time

2.  Revive horse market by using horses as food to feed wyverns and get them better stats. Because 90% of players if I had to guess have a free t10 and 2 free t9s and have no reason to worry about buying horses or breeding them anymore. This does give people reasons to buy them again.

Dragon is not a replacement, it's an addition. I've spent the last two days collecting Dokkebi chests in LomL using the dragon and it's been great. Getting from point A to point B quickly made the logs so much more bearable. It doesn't replace the horse though as it doesn't suit all the situations (plus the idiotic 3 minute cooldown) but it's a worthy addition to the game (well, it would be if it wasn't being removed two weeks from now).

I agree with OP - the fact that it exists is great, the fact that it will be removed is really discouraging and downright insulting. I can understand giving PvP players titles or some outfits but giving an actual content that is two of the absolute best mounts is a spit in the face for all those who don't do PvP.

As many I am having a love/hate relationship for this game. I love a lot of things about it but I think I hate even more. I keep coming back but with every time the time I will quit for good is ever closer. Things like exclusive features that are meant only for the uber elites only make it worse. 

Well, the dragon idea was nice, but the control ist so trash that i wont really miss it if they remove it. Especially switching the altitude. And unreasonable height regulation. On a flat land i cant ascend (dunno, maybe 50m) and i need literally collide with a mountain to be able to fly through it. The idea of dragons, griffons etc cool,but its worthless if we cant controll it freely, and needs some base speed boost.

The altitude limit is relative to the ground that you are flying over. You can ascend over mountains once you get (very) close.

Interesting thing: once you are up there, you can stay, even after you move away from the mountains, until you descend. Dismount and see how long you can drop : )

The problem is that flying off, say, Valtarra, over lower elevations is that you can exceed rendering distance (depending on your graphics settings). And some objects, like the Sherekhan statue, don't seem all that well constructed up top - can fly inside, then get stuck.

You can play the same sort of trick with lower elevations in some places.  Can't descend too close to the ground, but if there's even lower ground nearby, you can descend there then fly to the higher area and be as close to the ground as you want (until you ascend). Some caves with high entrances can be flown into that way, when otherwise the minimum altitude over their entrance floor level would force you over the entrance ceiling level and prevent entering.

I hadn't played for a while, I came back to try the new mount, really nice, it enhances the open map and doesn't replace the ground mounts which remain the best in short stretches. and then you have 3 types of mounts by land, water, air... perfect I'd say, and if you don't like it you always have the magnus. I also hope so much that they make it permanent with maybe new skills like for the other higher tier mounts.
