Title.  Please ban people from doing it.  There is no necessity for it.  It is used for griefing more often than not.  It clogs the top 100.  Announce a ban for anyone using alt accounts on both the alt and main if caught. 

Please also introduce class-specific MMR so that people can play alt classes in aos for ranked and practice.

Not retroactively, obviously, just make an announcement that going forward it is not allowed.

Please at least consider introducing this next season.  People might think it'd be difficult to police, but I disagree:

-using voice on alt accounts would get people caught, making them want to play them less. 

-people would be unable to stream playing on alt accounts. 

-people would be less inclined to name them similarly to their main accounts to gain clout, which would reduce their reason for smurfing on alt accounts.

-the bdo aos community is relatively small anyways, it would hardly take any GM hours to manually investigate reports

It's as simple as making an announcement that it is against the rules to play AoS on alt accounts with a consequence of having access to AoS restricted on both accounts and rewards removed for the season.

When a single player manages to place multiple accounts in the Top 100 of Arena of Solare, it doesn’t just serve as their personal meme or flex—it actively reduces the number of unique players who can claim those spots.

• If one player holds 3 accounts in the Top 100, that’s two fewer unique players making the cut.
• If multiple players do this, the actual competitive diversity shrinks significantly.
• The community effectively loses X many spots, making it harder for new or skilled players to break in.
  
  

Some may argue that "work is work," and ranking multiple accounts fairly is just dedication. But if a single player could theoretically fill as many spots as humanly possible, would we still think it’s fine?

At what point does it stop being a flex and start being a problem?

Competitive integrity is about ensuring that rankings represent the best individual players, not just those who have the time and resources to spam multiple accounts. So, while some may feel it an earned achievement I have to side against it as it breaks the spirit of competition.

I also agree that MMR should be class locked to your highest ranking single character. 

Still feel this is relevant now that the season is over.  On NA, over a dozen in the top 100 are known alt accounts, which admittedly is better than previous seasons but still a problem. 

That number is far higher if you count players from other regions coming over, though that is less of an issue than straight up alt accounts where someone has their main and alt taking places in the top 100 or being used to grief others.

Please consider announcing a ban on alt accounts during the next AoS ranked season, and possibly a ban on playing off of your home region (or putting the region part to a community vote).

Please add class-specific MMR as well.  I'd rather someone show in the top 100 twice on different classes than twice on the same class with an alt account.  It would be far more deserved than simply repeating a climb on the main class with an alt account.
