-Join server
-do daily
-leave server
optional if you are main in the 1-4 classes:
-try pvp
-try competeting for bosses
95% of all participants will probably endup never entering hardcore or doing the daily.
BTW imo entering the hardcore server is too difficult, some1 who doesnt read patch notes will never enter hardcore server
Its great that it is only 4 classes. This gives non-meta classes a time to shine. We already have pvp modes where you play your main and get dominated by the FOTM because of class imbalance.
Its crazy to me that so many people are adamant about not learning a new class. You call yourselves gamers?
total skill issue.
<3 HC server. So far the only thing I would change about it is that killing a player would have a chance to drop an item instead of it merely being destroyed for them.

Zerker is literally a hard meta class, what are you even on about?

and its pitted against classes that fare well against it.
Assuming the classes would rotate, we will eventually have non-meta classes to play that won't auto-lose to zerker and the FOTM because they would be restricted from the pool.
I don't know why this is so hard to understand. The devs made this decision for a good reason.
If you refuse to play any class other than your main that is on you. real gamers will adapt.

why would i want to adap whats the reward for it?
you believe learning a class for a specific mode that will be gone and god knows when that class is back so you can capitalize on the learned skills is a good reward? cuz you aint farming points if you gonna pvp in that mode.

AoS is the closest mode to hc format we can get. Small scale fights with open space and equalized gear at start, with gear growth that tops out like seasons. But we add open world and that gear growth format. Close enough. 26 zerkers on top 100 combined from NA/EU boards. Let's compare that to the other classes. 0 rangers, 6 sorcs, 8 warriors. Ya, those classes definitely fare well against it. If Zerker meets someone he can't 1v1 in this space, he can just run away because it's wide open with little walls.
This format is great for someone like you who doesn't play a real class (and exists as a balance breaker on its own...), but for everybody else, it's complete ass. I have to give up my main to play a class I'm unfamiliar with and don't really want to play. Especially not when the punishment for dying is a third of my points. And then, what's my reward for learning a class I don't want to play? 900m a day? For something that might just be here for a month and then gone? I guess I could learn zerker to metaslave in aos or nw, but I don't want to reroll.
I don't mind the class selection, as I've played all of them, and I do like them.
But, this mode isn't hardcore. It's too easy. Log in, do quests, log out, collect rewards.
What players were asking for was a server like Arsha, but one that's all about PvP. Arsha isn't PvP, it's PvE (drop-rate bonus) with no PvP penalites. Players want a server where PvP in encouraged and rewarded. That's hardcore.
And you have to make a whole new character for this?!! Not a fan of that. PA's like: Hey, pay us bucks for that chracter slot you'll need............
I guess they're automatically lvl 63, but, I hope new players don't get to do this.
Auto lvl 63, free PEN Blackstar...................................................... oh, wait, there used to be a game you had to play to get this.............
No wonder BDO loses so many new and old players. No reason to invest, or stay invested.
The only hardcore part about hardcore server is level of dissapointment.

Its easy if you make it easy. Try chasing down the top ranking players before they escape or after a boss.
If you just do you 150 mob kills and run back to regular BDO then the game mode isn't wholly designed for a player like you.
Also, you don't need to buy an extra character slot. Have you even tried it?
