Region (NA/EU): EU
Suggestion(s)/Comment(s): Adjust dayling saving time on the correct date.
Details:

Today on the 20th the servers clocks were adjusted to daylight saving time, even though daylight saving time only starts in 10 days, on the 30th!

While this is usual business for BDO, it confuses the hell out of everyone. Our guild event today had to be canceled because of this. Today at 16:00 together with a lot of other people I was waiting for Uturi, but there was no Uturi, thanks to this chaos.

The solution: Adjust your server code a bit and switch to daylight saving time at the correct date.

Another solution: Do not switch to daylight saving time at all. At least then everyone is aware.

They used to do it the week of the change, but NA and EU have different days, so they'd have to make 2 posts about it, and players still ignored it and got all the times wrong, and blamed PA. So now there is one post about it that players still ignore and then blame PA. That's more efficient.

Agreed, each and everyone can work out there own timezones.

Even more relevent now that PA have shown how hopless they are at doing so by breaking crap thats worked for years.

Not a big deal for me, i just had  loml bosses 1h earlier.  This is probably the only thing that effects on the game. The only weird thing, why  did they do it today. It is supposed to be in 1 week, as usual.

They shouldn't mess with it at all. Just keep to the UTC schedule, the local times will manage themselves.  For example: not all places do daylight time. And as mentioned above, those that do have different schedules. UTC only, please.

edit: Like OP said at the end :)

The answer as always probably comes down to PVP. Nodewar/Siege would be unplayable for some people half the year if it followed one UTC time all year. Because NW/Siege times have to change, then bosses have to change to accomodate them.

NWs must be at 8PM CET. This is simple.

8pm CET means 7pm for UK/Portugal, which is already pushing it towards dinner time (but in the case of UK it's acceptable while Portuguese usually eat late).

A 7pm NW makes UK/Portugal unable to attend off of a normal 9-5 work day; it also squeezes the rest of the CET timezone into a rather uncomfortable 7pm time, especially for countries that classically eat later.

NA should have it's own server branch with it's own time zone changes. They already have their own boss schedule/NW schedule, I don't see why DST changes should be rolled out across both servers at the same time.

3 days of messed up time is acceptable; though a mini patch on the day of time change would be best. 10 days? Well if you want to kill your already vulnerable NW population with a 10 day break...
