The current changes for Archer are pretty bad for the class. The changes to piercing cry, uproot, and zephyrs movement make no sense, and the class feels extremely clunky to play. The class has lost damage on it hardest hitting skills, it lost range, and it lost stamina basically everything that made the class playable. With PA's current direction for the class, it would be better to just outright reroll to deadeye since it still has everything archer wishes it had. PA doesn't understand why people like this class and seem hell-bent on making it worse. Classes like zerker, musa, and awk meagu already could run down an archer, but now the class can't even kite for more than 20 seconds without burning all of its stamina. The class already had bad small scale potential, and this just makes it even worse. Please revert the changes and for once in your life actually listen to the feedback NA and EU are giving you.
While I have my own opinions on how the class should be played, the majority of the changes to the class are just bad. Whoever is in charge of balancing Archer at PA must really hate the class.
- Revert stamina changes for Gaping Darkness, Glissade, and Glide.
- Revert Glissade to FG and restore its 2nd and 3rd shots.
- Make Glissade 3rd shot not animation locked.
- Revert camera lock on Uproot, Piercing Cry, Zephyr Leap, Verdure Clout,
- Revert Verdure Clout to linger FG
- Remove Verdure Clout secondary shot (if you lag or get hit stuttered and accidently cast it, it's unprotected and a bad CC. This part of the skill just feels awful)
- Revert key input for Steady Breath (and fix the bug where if Exhale is locked, Steady Breath can't be used)
- Revert Righteous Smite to SA from FG or make the skill cancelable.
- Revert damage nerfs for Grand Bloom, Spear of Sylvia, Righteous Smite, Luthragons Call, Piercing Light, Marked Bloom, Bolt of Radiance.
- Make Uproot restore stamina during the full cast of the skill.
archer was already a dead class but yikes now I really feel bad for anyone who still plays it
