Suggestions/Comments: HC is more PVE than PVP mode. Force people for PVP, it supposed to be pvp content...
So, I have 4k points, most people have 200-800 points and like only top 10 are like 1k-10k points. For 2h grinding I get around 2k points. There is no sense for me to go and kill that low points people. I will get more points from grinding for that time. The only option is that a few people, but even I kill somebody with 2-4k points I will earn 200-400 points. It still is pretty low. There is nothing to fight for....
It would be much better if people lose their best grade accessories/armors/weapons during death, so player who killed you could pick up your loot. Then pvp will make sense.
I'd like to see the veil mechanic happen whenever there are 3 people in the area, so all those people teaming up will stop. There should probably be a limit to how much gear can break from one death, as i've seen people lose 5 pieces from one death.
What's more frustrating is, if someone with 100 points goes to hunt you, you will *lose* points for killing them.
The debuff is NOT removed at violent (gahaz/jail), but the quest to kill those mobs starts at 3k points.
In general, the server rules disincentivize fair pvp. If you have a 50:50 chance of winning a fight against a target with the same points, you and the other person each are looking at about -20% points.
If you look at fighting someone with fewer points, the situation is even worse, with some fights being a guaranteed -30%.
It should really be 10% lost, 10% gained, or players should accumulate quest points for killing unique players, something like this.
Problem why you dont see more people with points is that its almost impossible to catch up if you are behind in gear and aslo have to learn a new class.
I dont mind the pvp and getting farmed by other people with better gear, thats BDO 2017 and its generally fun. But the loosing gear part is frustrating. I only started HC 3 days ago, so my gear is bad, mostly full green and a few blue items, until they break again.
Just today i finally got 2 blue weapons and my first 3 accessories. Then got stomped by a Zerker with just way better gear and lost 4 gear pieces at once. Ok i return to grinding some gear, only to get wrecked by a sorc who took almost 0 dmg even on the ground and oneshotted me after getting up. And again lost a few gear pieces.
So again i don't mind the pvp but please don't make items explode on death. This would probably lead to more people even willingly engage in pvp and get some points. But right now for most of the lower gear people its just getting their quest done and leave, because its practically impossible to catch up in 2 hours a day, when you get stomped every 10 minutes by players you can't even damage.
Sounds like my experience. I lost all my accessoeries all at once, and I don't even equip the one blue gear piece I found: there's no point, as it doesn't change how well you grind, really, and it has 30 durability, so it will be gone before you now it. For most of us, the only sensible option is log in, get your daily done, get your points, and get back to playing the real game, hoping that PA will get it and finally give us what we want: an Arsha server where you get bonuses for actually doing PvP.
No gimicks, no events, no leaderboards: just let us play.
Gear breaking is bad. So is losing points (on avarage) by engaging in Pvp. Hardcore could do with some reworks. I appriciate that PA has increased the droprates for gear recently, so they are listening to player feedback; let's hope they do that more.

They didn't. Every week we have the same story. Carried people get new grade gear for 1-2 days, when you can get only 1-2 parts for the whole week. Last week we couldn't get yellow, but blue was easy, this week we cant get red, but yellow is easy. They didn't change anything, they just do it every week from the start HC and as result people in full red grade go on gahaz/pila ku and kill people in yellow/blue grade without any chance for them.
I don't want to be forced to pvp until they fix the stupid point loss/gain imbalance and stop gear from breaking if you lose.
