I literately mentioned the hot time as an exception, but yeah L2R I guess.

Its PVP is so horribly balanced   theres no longer any reason to gear or chase it at the end of the rainbow. The PVE balance also isnt to great with classes completely stomping others. 

BDO balance is a mess in general. But removing forced PVP does fix one issue although it is kind of a band aid fix for the bigger issue at play.

PVP IN THIS GAME IS SUCKS 

like amount of knowledge u need for pvp about every class for how to beat them or how to use the skills of ur own class's

and the stats needed for pvp, if u want to become a good pvp player u have to spend a lot of time for it not only for skills but for gear too. accuracy, ap, or evasion 

and amount of silver u need to buy caphras and pen gears and crystals with good stats for accuracy and evasion for pvp

and if u don't have good gear u probably go grinding for silver and sometimes a pvp player come and kill u with one skill and all the buff potions is gone they don't even need to try to kill u they just do u with one skill 

and even a fair pvp, i mean two good pvp player fighting with each other and still after using 5 or 6 skill one of them dies fast and i don't know how some ppl have fun doing pvp in this game 

i play this game like 6 month and some times then i grinding for silver, some players come and hit me until 80% of my hp is gone and they cc me until a npc or a mob kill me and goodnight crystals 

and just cuz i don't know how pvp works in this game like last 2 or 3 months i even think like this ppl are moders or something cuz i died to then in a split second even attacks with a horse

and trash graphic for more fps and more fps for more ap and accuracy 

i don't say i don't like and play pvp i like it and i play a lot in wow before it died but pvp in this game is a just a massive and annoying joke to me 

I do enjoy this game cuz it's beautiful and I do enjoy some weekly events and some stuff in game.

but making yourself ready for pvp and playing pvp in this game is a massive waste of time

I am so glad that PVP is dying... slowly. Also, the amount of toxicity in PVP is wild! I've seen it and it's not funny either. Even worse, I have been there where some PVP / toxic players just come in on Life Skill discord (sorry, I will not link. Find it yourself!) and keeps saying "I am in here to see life skiller suffer!" Like seriously?

Like who does all the cooking? Life Skiller. Who makes all the potions and buffs for you to enjoy grinding and PVP? Life Skiller. Who crafts other stuff for you and farm all those necessary stones for upgrading weapons? Life Skiller (some stones require life skiller skills to acquire them).

I have enough with bad PVP players waay before PA bought it. It nearly drove me away from this game. But I kept going because I know PA will improve it. Now... I see this post popping up. I am glad... for once. I can play this game in peace!

I enjoy pvp.  However, many of the pvp kids are unhinged and toxic.  they need help irl.

Many people in general are just mentally ill an toxic. An no amount of help can fix them. So many people now a days just hear what they want to hear, see what they want to see, an completely close their eyes an ears to reality. This mental illness of ignorance an hate takes many forms not just in this game's PVP community.

I've seen extremest PVE players review bomb Planetside 2 because it does't have PVE. I've seen PVE only players go out of their way to find people that enjoy PVP content in games just so they can mass insult them an be complete hypocrits in the process. So no this toxicity doesn't just exist in PVP focused communities, there just as many toxic PVE focused individuals as there are PVP ones.

Ill always have tbc and wrath pvp memories. They are some of my favorite memories just sitting in skype with my friends doing bgs and arenas all day. You couldnt pay me to do that now

Na they realized people will pay thousands of dollars to be untouchable haha. Pvp in all games is a joke, if the game consists of more than pvp. Open world pvp is what should be happening in BDO but there is no point.

I think it's cool there are skilled people and people think they are skilled when they win, but I'm not too caught up in it. BDO is many ways imbalanced and gear is just one of the issues. Pvp is just blowing people up for luls when you can. I never liked structured pvp... and like I said oW is eh even on Arshu.

Edit: @ toxic pvp, it has to do with people's entitlement, loot scrolls etc, everything is so damn serious. If you get on arsha it's not like that... it's more cut throat but the people are more relaxed. The people on regs are ready to delete your guild if they could just to hold a grind rotation. It's not gonna get any less griefy without pvp, that's 'true pvp,' people competing for content and BDO players, in general, don't cope with it well.
