Been playing since 2025 and notice theres alot of classes in this game with a grab on a seriously low cd and nothing to counter it but your escape skill.

Some classes don't need grab and the classes that needs it needs a longer cd of 30 secs in pvp. I see people grab, i pop escape then grab again instantly , not to mention that grab bug that locks u in the grab for the whole duration. Not even to add grab immunity after suffering a grab  or make grab target untargetable for some classes but to the person who is grabbing , but flat out heres a grab on 12 sec you get a grab you get a grab " oh wait lets all queue together as 3 grab classes"

The so call protections in this game is a roll a dice cause half the time they don't work yet the skill that triggers it  goes on cd .

With all the nerfs being done and nothing major to fix the broken pvp system is sad to see from a new players perspective.

DESYNC, GRAB,SA spams and CLASSES THAT CAN CC thru super armor is a good place to start, releasing a bunch of class that breaks the system will get this game no where

also getting cced for 5 second on the ground then a random person hits u at the last sec or you didnt iframe instantly on the get up?????? so you go down after suffering a kd their should be immunity for 2 sec to react or something or remove the get up animation

listen as long as this game has a meta where the whole game is infinite protections with damage in said protections. you are not aloud to complain about grabs. you dont want to get grabbed its called iframe it or IDK dont get within 2ft of a grab class?????

we can talk about how some grab classes are overly fast sure  while having infinite stam but mine is not one of them.

But in the current game state if you nerf grabs you ruin any counter play to the BS your class as an example does.

. theres currently 2 ways to catch people in this game fishing for CCs between thier infinite protections ( this is borderline RNG with how it currently functions and thats before you take resists into account.)

The only other way you kill people is super armor trading  which personally I hate this is what has happened to our PVP game as a older class who still has play with frontals as my only way to dish damage.

If the devs stopped giving newer classes everything  with no downsides we wouldnt be in this mess but here we are

if the game was 1v1 focus then yea its easy iframe .... but 3v3 when game matches up 3 grab class or even 2 mind you , some of these classes can teleport up to you out of no where sage  -- idk why that class have a grab like oh awaken form of this class has a grab. I see other games with grab counter  or you can iframe it but theres no way to avoid it unless u dash at the right moment , with desync they grab you from a mile away. Loading up on grab resist is point less too

pvp would be so much better if grab was nerfed...just got grab twice in 10 seconds by the same person

the problem is until we get out of a game thats infinite protections theres no way we can reasonably nerf grabs 

thats not hard some classes have way too much i dont mind that....... theres no downtime on it and infinite stamina run.

my classes stam has been gutted and theres multiple classes who can run circles around me and for some reason they dont have stam problems and I do? shouldnt it be the other way around? slower classes should have more stam then zippy ones lol.

learn to iframe or move in sa while maintaining proper distance xD problem solved... youre dosa you can pvp well simply by face slaming your keyboard repetedly

Grab nerfs can happen when the overprotection and dr overstacking metas die. When they start ripping out SAs and moving towards FGs and less protection like they promised, we can talk about grabs.

This issue is something that one simply does not post on this forum, it's a fool's errand just like evasion discussions - you'll get eviscerated as you already have.

Just a question for all of the grab defenders in chat, what about classes with no grab, no movement, unreliable iframes, and unreliable ccs - should those classes not get a grab and stop complaining on forums until the SA meta goes away? You do realize those exist right? It's almost half of the roster :D

Grabs ruin competitive integrity in this game since some classes have them and some don't. There is a reason why in fighting games every character has them, to prevent stalemates. In BDO, the biggest stalemating classes are classes with grabs - and sorc awakening. Any iframe class would trade their spam for a grab in a heartbeat, almost no grab class would trade their grab for spamable iframes. That says it all.

I agree! Grab is the problem of this game.  It has very short cd  and you can do nothing against grab  if you play for non grab class.  You only have  V  every 5 minutes...   Some classes don't have iframe at all, for example, succ sage, w+c has fg+iframe but some classes just can grab you before iframe, during fg on the start, this skill is very slow. You absolutely can do nothing against grab. This is very stupid. If against cc, you rotate fg+sa, then against grab...  

Please do something with grabs in this game, make pvp healthier. Remove them or  make 3 min cd or add grab resistance for SA skills, so grab class could grab only in fg.
