Problem: Many trees are not gatherabe, that just feels weird, isn't intuitive and shouldn't be the case. Imagine some mobs in a rotation being invincible entities while grinding..

Suggestion: Make all trees where it makes sense gatherable.

We have ve been asking for this for the last 10 years. They just don't want to do it.

Maybe not ALL trees. I'm sure at some point there has to be a thresh hold the server can handle of actively running timers on nodes and they have to leave space for new locations to be added, but even then I feel like there could be a work around. Such as limiting some nodes to their respective server locations. For example more trees/herbs/etc from Balenos on the Balenos servers and so on with Serendia, Kamasylvia, etc. You have no idea how frustrated I was running around looking for Thornwood Trees. LMAO. I was pulling out my hair ready to scream because I had a quest that required me to physically chop a thornwood tree and collect 5 wood from it, even though I had almost of 1,000 of the logs in storage and had already handed the NPC the 5 logs, the quest wouldn't complete because I hadn't physically chopped a tree. FUN FACT. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE THORNWOOD TREE IN THE THORNWOOD FOREST. There is however, ONE singular Loopy Tree, WHICH THE DANG LOOPY TREE FOREST IS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CONTINENT???? I thought I was going to lose my mind.

Also, for the love of god, why do I have to phyisically chop the tree/butcher the wolf/tan the rhino to complete these quests when I already have the mats?

Both issues realllllly feel like an excuse to milk people for game play time which prevents the ability to plan ahead/make the most out of the time you have to play and minimizes some of the flexibility of AFK production node mats. IMO that's more likely to push people with less time to play away from those activites or worse, the game entirely. It serves no other practical purpose that I can think of, I could be wrong, but if not thats a lot more cons than pros. 

Make it more visible will help! Not gatherable, make it transparent.
